Valkyrie and Cadaver in techwear
Honestly if it wasn't so tedious to draw I'd put Val in that outfit EVERY TIME but alas... Straps
okay listen to this
skulduggery pleasant animated series - animated like arcane.
THAT WOULD BE SOOOO SICK LIKE WHAT
think abt the fight scenes and the music and how DETAILED the magic would look nobody can tell me that wouldn’t be insanely awsome.

I think I might've said this before but I do wish that Derek Landy would do more in-depth exploration of Valkyrie and Cadaver's dynamic rather than just starting to explore it and then tossing them aside, because their dynamic is really personally interesting in that it doesn't not resemble Valkyrie's relationship with Skulduggery, but it's been so irrevocably tainted by years of them hurting each other that all they can really do is at best treat each other in a deeply professional and impersonal manner.
We see this at the start of ASFOS especially where Cadaver very clearly has been treating Valkyrie favourably, but when he actually walks in to talk to her he seems calm. Almost cold. On the job, definitely not what might be expected for someone apparently being so nice to her. We also see it on Valkyrie's end, where there's a million things she wants to say to him in regards to how her life is going at the moment, but all she ends up doing is just. Thanking him. Again in a pretty polite sort of manner.
And given their deeply involved history with each other, looking at how the trauma they've dealt each other and how it still enmeshes their relationship even now that they're doing all right could be really cool. And I think Landy wanted to explore them somewhat? But failed to follow through on that in any particularly meaningful sort of way. I think it's part of a larger pattern where he's seemed almost scared to write anything problematic? Despite that kind of being what the series is based around? But this is just my own speculation. I just really wish we could have more of Cadaver and Valkyrie.
Potentially controversial opinion. Currently 2/3rds of the way through Dead & Alive and I love Cadaver Cain. Like so much. He's so annoying it's incredible
