he’s a bitch but the kinda bitch that makes his bitchness endearing. i really love his and blinky’s designs overall!! and you can’t not appreciate dic’s goth style.
like i said, he’s a bitch, and his jealousy feuds with otto were a lil ridiculous (tho i def understand them). like it’s okay sweeties, gunmar regards you with contempt equally

the one where aaarrrgghh saves him, i just felt really bad for him when he was outed and gunmar was going to kill him :( at least he was then back to the good side, even though he wasn’t as ‘good’ himself

dicrot (dictatious/angor rot) has a home in my soul and y’all know who’s fault it is (i absolutely love them for it). old calculated assassin finding common ground with near-blind former degenerate is a GOOD dynamic that we could only see in fan content, but DAMN does that fan content deliver
guntatious (gunmar/dictatious) is also something i consider but also kinda see it one-sided? dic created his own separate gunmar fanclub when otto kicked him out of his and usurna’s.
well, duh, we have his little bro blinky, who definitely had a close relationship with each other as seen in wizards prior to the (first) battle of killahead bridge. it’ll take a lot more time for blinky to warm up to his brother after trollhunters s3, but dic was clearly a bit enthusiastic to the idea of being close to blinky again. their bond is mending, but slowly
when dic’s left behind in the domzalski’s household, i can definitely see nana letting him help around the house and bake and stuff, and doesn’t mind if he messes up or accidentally breaks something because he’s visually impaired. she knows what it’s like and guides him along the way. it’s the first time in a long time he feels validated.
i don’t really understand why some people really shit on him? i guess it’s due to him betraying his brother n stuff, but like, anyone who’s been wrongfully dragged into the darklands and left there for centuries can certainly change someone. yes he can be cowardly but again his cowardice was probably how he had to survive in the darklands. i guess it was one of the factors that had him serve gunmar too, whether it by coercion or choice.
i wanna see blinky slowly but surely accepting dic as his family again, i wanna see them reconcile
