Just wanted to clarify because there’s been some confusion but the hozier said lesbian rights comic isn’t about the song nina cried power specifically. I’m aware that it is about the civil rights movement and a tribute to singers who have been vocal about the movement, and I understand the value of this. I never tried to take away any of its significance and if I did then I’m sorry and will be more aware in the future. The comic itself more about the other three songs and the fact that he released new music at all. I also know about what he’s been doing to fight for equal rights, especially women’s rights, for real during the hiatus aside from the forest memes. It’s just a fun joke and I’m sorry about the misunderstandings.
