Café Mode is a romance one-shot comic that explores the growing intimacy between Colin, a barista and Mirembe, a novelist.

Mirembe couldn't have imagined that needing to change her favourite cafeteria would lead to anything good – how wrong she could be. Meeting another artistic soul like Colin has been a great delight. If only she could get to know him better in the fleeting moments they share at the café every day...

While studying to get in his target culinary school, Colin takes morning shifts at a local cafeteria, Café Mode. His routined and predictable workdays are over at once when a witty and fascinating young woman, Mirembe starts visiting the café daily. If only he could gather the courage to ask her out...

Café Mode release date!

I'm excited to announce that my comic Café Mode will be released on December 12th 2018! The comic will be free to read online and updates twice a week. Pages will first appear on Tapas. Feel free to check the series page and subscribe so you won't miss a page!

Mirembe has lived her early childhood in Johannesburg, South Africa. Her family moved to UK before Mirembe started school. After graduating from college she found her calling in story writing. Mirembe has been working on her novels since then and is now pursuing to get her latest story sold to a publisher.
