yeah, and all the other wf men who were there when the boys found them were v superstitious about them too. but then once she sees summer save bran's life (and hers) she understands their power perfectly. (even jon, who seemingly came to this understanding first, using the gods to convince ned to let them keep the wolves, still pushs ghost away in adwd just as robb did with grey wind in asos. though, in his defense, the red-haired lady warning him was a scary witch he didn't really trust, not his own mother.)

yeah, but she never once thinks of that connection to harrenhal or anything about her mother being a whent. i already had a whole rant about that.
