❝  handled yourself well.  ❞   she knew she would  ------  she had been watching her from sometime,  hearing the bite to her words and seeing just how well she could handle herself upon any altercation.  in some ways,  she had reminded her of herself back when she had been thrown into the fighting pit  -----  and that’s why she was here now,  praising her for what she had accomplished.  but it was more than that  -----  she wanted to read how she was now,  how she was responding to coming up on the other side,  victorious.  not everyone handles it well.  not everyone can separate who they were from who they are after the fighting pit  -----  and she doesn’t want anyone to falter.  if they’ve won,  they deserve to keep getting stronger  (  the way she had.  )    ❝  blodreina was impressed. ❞    certainly that’s the validation everyone needs in a moment like this,   right?    it was for her.   ❝  how do you feel?  ❞    she doesn’t just mean physically  ----  she wants to know how she’s doing mentally.  she wants to know that this hasn’t CRUSHED HER in any way  ----  because if it has,  kara intends to reroute it,  to remind her that she’s better for having been through this.
