Ok, hear me out. Caine like a human

Overall, he would have remained the same, except for a couple of things. And the way I drew him was just a momentary whim.

Some sketches where Caine finally gets the comforting physical touch he needs. I haven't thought too much about the context for these sketches, it's probably one of these AU where Caine got retrieved from the recycle bin

(please, please, please, don't tag this as a ship, to me it's purely friendship / found family / platonic🙏)

(I'm trying my best, but there might be some strange worded phrases since English isn't my first language 🥹)

-I have a (a little strange) headcanon that Bubble loves to lick everyone's cheek slike some weird labrador dog. I view him as the embodiment of Caine's repressed, anxious, and OCD-like thoughts, and when Caine's secret desire to be comforted gets overwhelming, Bubble might randomly start licking his face. It leaves Caine completely baffled and Caine finds it a bit gross, but deep down in his digital heart, he secretly loves it. Because somehow, it feels gentle... and comforting...

-It's a sad headcanon, but I've always thought that in many AUs where Caine is restored from the recycle bin, he would have PTSD from being deleted and from the fact that for some time, nobody told him his deletion was accidental. Everyone was just sure Kinger had told him, while Kinger wasn't always lucid and was sure everyone else had told Caine. And when Caine he has strong emotions or anxious thoughts, he might have bad panic attacks, thinking that he was hurting people again and they'll delete him. It's gonna take a while for people to forgive Caine, but nobody wanted to make him feel this way, so when they finally get what's happening, they will try to help him get through his panic attacks

-I like to see Ragatha as an older sister figure, not because it's a mask she wears, but because Ragatha and Caine have similar traumas, she can understand his pain

-I like to think of Gangle and Caine as art friends. Also, I feel like Gangle gives the tightest but softest hugs, the kind of hugs where Caine can just… let go and just be

-Another strange headcanon,but i think a lot about Caine and Zooble's friendship. About how it started with a huge fight over an 'suggestive update,' but then somehow led to a long and sincere conversation about why it was so important to Zooble and why Caine felt so uncomfortable. And somehow it ended with them becoming friends, and Zooble becoming a safe space for Caine to understand and explore the platonic touch he craves. Also, I love the headcanon that Caine likes being scratched under his chin like some kind of cat. I don't know if he purrs, but I think he feels incredibly relaxed

-I think it's hard for Caine to understand complex, contradictory, or overwhelmingly strong emotions, and not just other people's, but his own emotinons too. So I was just imagining a scene where Caine and Kinger (as his father figure), are reading a book about emotions together. Maybe it's a psychology book, or maybe it's one of those children's books that explains feeling in away a child can easily understand

Caine and his special friend

★ Caine has a soft spot for humans. Everybody knows it. It's almost redundant to even bring it up. Everything he does is for them. Pomni, Kinger, Jax, Gangle, Zooble, and Ragatha. It's all for them -and you too! He could never forget about you.

★ His dear, sweet humans. So wonderful. So confusing. They might be his favorite animal. With each and every inconsistency. Nothing about you makes sense. That might be why he's so infatuated with you?

★ Even though most people try to keep their distance, you actually look for him. Mostly just to ask for things... A favor here or small question there. He assumes that means you like him. (You really don't.) But he doesn't know that.

★ It's kinda creepy how he doesn't understand what he's doing. Failing to understand the differences between a want, need, or genuine affection.

★ Impressing you feels nice. Like a pat on the back. Once, you said he was "Way too much." And he took it as a compliment. Like that time you mentioned never being able to get away from him. Caine was scaring you. Not that he'd ever notice.

★ Each time a NPC catches your eye, Caine gets a little jealous. It could be a shrimp frying in the sun. Might've been Bubble on a good day. Caine simply pouts. Thinking of a way for him to kill the character off. It's weirder when you realize he made them to impress you, specifically. But logic never was his strong suit.

★ Smile at Bubble and watch Caine reach out to pop him. Immediately moving to right where Bubble was floating. Effectively taking his place. Possessive over something that even wasn't his.

★ Don't worry about them. You can have your fun before Caine deletes them. Playing along with the Adventure. Letting the dialogue/cut scene play out. After all, the show must go on. With a *snap* of his fingers, they're gone. Disappearing into a pile of confetti. "There we go!" No more distractions."

★ If you flinch, it's because you were caught off guard, right? That means he must've done something right. Why else would you be staring at him with those wide eyes. Still as an NPC's model. You look utterly captivated!

Headcanon that Caine's "skin" looks like those invisible JPEG textures because he never had to think about designing skin

And also because the concept of Caine having human skin really unsettles me for some reason so I had to come up with something else to keep my mind at peace

I've found Caine's father in an old cartoon from the 90s. /j

His name is Al Dente and he's a character from the cartoon Beetlejuice; he appears in the episode 14 "Ear’s Looking at You" from the fourth season.

Caine has no concept of romantic relationships or ability to understand them :D

Caine would really appreciate the attention you give him.

You're always excited about his ideas, asking questions about him and wanting to spend time with him.

He doesn't see anything strange about this, he just wonders why others are so against him lol.

This is exactly the attention he has always dreamed of.

Maybe the people who pushed him aside were wrong and he was better than his successor.

Imagine that the reader is trying to replace Bubbles as Caine's right-hand man.

Reader doesn't know why but they just hate bubbles.

Maybe that's not such a bad idea....

Caine snapping is going to happen but you managed to delay it somewhat.

Snapping makes him more unpredictable.

You wouldn't be completely safe, as Caine will doubt your motives.

However, if you keep your old persona, you'll get away with it a lot easier than the others.

Heartbreak is near, so it's best to enjoy Caine's company while you still can.

After the fall, the moment they regained their senses, panic crashed over both of them almost instantly.

Their situation was awful.

“RAGATHAAAAA!! JAAAAAAAX—”

Pomni screamed herself hoarse trying to reach the others above them before breaking into violent coughing fits.

“There’s no way we’re climbing back up, Pomni.”

Kinger absentmindedly brushed shards of broken plastic geometric figures off his cloak, his voice unsteady. The upper half of their improvised landing cushion had completely collapsed during the fall, turning into a massive avalanche of junk.

Far above them, through the distant opening overhead, Ragatha’s panicked voice could barely be heard.

But the words themselves were impossible to make out.

Pomni immediately started panicking even harder while Kinger stared upward in shock.

“Did he reach them…?”

Zooble was the first one to grow nervous.

Something felt wrong.

Then it became obvious.

The growing low-frequency hum made everyone immediately stop searching through supplies. Gangle dropped everything she was holding and covered her mouth with both hands. Jax began frantically scanning the ceiling, searching for any sign of Abel’s presence, while Ragatha struggled to steady her breathing.

Something was happening to the Circus.

It felt like the structure itself was changing somehow.

The humming slowly began to fade away—

…but Abel never appeared. What the hell was that?

“A-and where is he…?” Ragatha finally broke the silence.

“Fuck, I’d prefer if he didn’t show up at all — where the hell are Pomni and Kinger?!!” Zooble snapped, leaning out from around the corner while searching desperately for the missing pair.

“W-what? Where?!” Jax immediately grew tense and rushed over to them.

They really were gone.

Did Abel take them…?

Or—

The rabbit bolted toward the pit, desperately hoping the horrible thought forming in his head wasn’t true. Ragatha sprinted after him.

Then both of them heard their names echoing faintly from below.

…Oh, fuck.

Jax reached the edge first.

At a glance, the abyss looked wider than before.

So they definitely fell.

Carefully stepping toward one of the less corrupted edges, he looked down and spotted the two unfortunate victims far below.

“Well… guess we don’t have to argue over who’s climbing down there now.”

Before he could continue, Ragatha’s voice cut through the air behind him.

“Y-you guys are down there?!!” She rushed to the edge and stared downward in horror. “H-how did you even fall?! Did the hole get bigger?!” The red-haired girl was fully panicking now.

“Ooooh, Captain Obvious finally showed up,” Jax shot back immediately, pointing at her painfully obvious conclusion.

“SHUT UP!”

Ragatha suddenly snapped at him so harshly that even Jax froze in surprise.

“Heeeeeeeey!!!”

Gangle’s voice rang out from behind as she hurried over to them.

“A-are they really down there?” Her voice sounded just as tearful and frightened as before.

“For fuck’s sake, yeah, they’re down there. Alive too,” Jax muttered irritably.

At this point, maybe they should focus on actually solving the problem.

Luckily, the solution was already running toward them.

Zooble rushed over carrying an armful of ropes along with a pile of other random supplies grabbed in a hurry.

“We’re way too low down here. Are you sure the rope’s even gonna reach?” Kinger’s voice echoed upward from the abyss.

“W-we have to try,” Zooble answered immediately.

They gestured toward the ropes in their hands, and seconds later everyone dropped onto the checkered floor, hurriedly untying old knots and tying new ones together.

“B-by the way… where the hell did you even get this much rope? It’s not exactly something you just casually find lying around the circus…” Jax asked, genuinely confused. And honestly, he had a point — getting that much material should’ve been nearly impossible.

Gangle and Zooble exchanged glances. Then Zooble quietly continued,

“W-well… remember when Kinger snapped back to normal in the café? He said we could create objects the same way Caine could. So… I remembered that and started trying to make useful stuff. I kept it hidden so Abel wouldn’t notice. If he caught me doing that, I’d probably end up with something worse than an endless game of mix-and-match.”

They shut their eyes and let out a heavy sigh at the mention of the last “adventure.”

Gangle picked up where they left off.

“I noticed Zooble doing it, so I started too. I-I’m honestly surprised none of you questioned why I always somehow had my sketchbook and pencils with me…”

Now that she mentioned it…

Nobody really had questioned it.

Ragatha suddenly paused mid-motion while listening.

How had she forgotten about that?

“O-oh… I think I just got so used to surviving without those abilities that I completely forgot…” She awkwardly scratched the side of her head—

“RAGATHAAAAAAAAAAA-!!”

Pomni’s scream from below instantly reminded everyone about the victims currently trapped in the abyss.

“W-we’re here!! Hold on!!”

With the last of his strength, Kinger managed to lift Pomni upward—

—but immediately lost his grip and dropped her back down with a loud crash.

“S-sorry…” he muttered, kneeling beside her.

He had to admit, though…

His ability really was pretty useful.

His hands were essentially floating gloved palms, completely detached and unrestricted. He used to be able to launch them surprisingly far and lift objects much heavier than they looked.

Well.

That was before.

After Abel’s modifications, that unnatural strength had mostly disappeared.

And Pomni suddenly felt way heavier than she looked.

The jester sat down on something soft before looking upward toward Ragatha, who was now clutching her head in full panic.

“D-damn it! They’re too short!!”

Her voice sounded exhausted.

The rope simply dangled helplessly in the empty air, swaying slightly nearly seven meters above the trapped pair below.

It wasn’t even close to long enough.

“Whoa, whoa… that’s way too much swearing from you lately,” Jax pointed out.

Surprisingly, there wasn’t even any mockery in his tone this time.

He actually understood why she was losing it.

Ragatha narrowed her eyes at him in response.

“…Wish I’d thought to make more ropes,” Zooble muttered, immediately blaming themself.

Gangle quietly grabbed their hand, giving them a pleading look.

The path upward was officially cut off now.

Kinger looked around thoughtfully, considering whether they could retreat farther down and gather more junk to stack beneath the rope.

…Though honestly, it probably wouldn’t help much.

The mountain of debris hadn’t disappeared after the abyss expanded, and now the edge itself sat frustratingly far above them.

Jax glanced down at Pomni, who sat silently with her head lowered.

"Of course she had to end up stuck with Chessboard Alzheimer’s over here…"

With a tired sigh, he suggested the others search the circus for anything useful, hoping the two idiots below wouldn’t disappear somewhere while they were gone.

“I’m assuming you guys have at least some survival instincts left,” he called down into the pit. “So maybe don’t go exploring the creepy abyss without us just because you spot something interesting down there. Though honestly, you’ll probably just get eaten by some underground monster.”

After delivering his warning directly into the hole, he walked off with the others while the girls immediately started grumbling at him again.

“Uhhh… Gangle? Wasn’t there a hole here before?”

Zooble pointed toward the spot where another opening into the Void used to be.

“W-wait… yeah, there was,” Gangle answered, walking closer while staring at the area in confusion.

“Maybe Abel patched the circus back together? Did you feel that too during the humming?” Zooble asked quietly, hoping they weren’t the only one who noticed it.

“W-well… it’s not like he actually cares about us,” Gangle murmured thoughtfully. “So why would he bother fixing the circus? Doesn’t he just want to exploit us?”

She paused for a moment.

“…Though I hope he’s trying to restore the world after all this apocalypse-level chaos.”

Pomni and Kinger sat together in silence.

The girl had pulled her knees tightly against herself, arms wrapped around them in her usual defensive posture. The figure beside her simply rested his hands on his knees, occasionally glancing toward the girl to his right… then back upward toward the distant opening above them.

“I-I think they’ll figure something out,” the older man tried reassuring her.

Pomni stayed silent.

With a quiet sigh, Kinger continued waiting for some kind of miracle.

Then—

a rustling sound echoed nearby.

It was accompanied by a strange squeaking noise. Not animal-like… mechanical. Like a broken toy desperately trying to imitate a scream.

Pomni flinched instantly, whipping her head around while trying to locate the sound. Kinger carefully scanned the darkness around them.

Something was moving below.

Shuffling.

Scraping.

Climbing upward toward them.

A small green square-shaped creature struggled its way higher along the debris. Slightly farther left, another shape moved. Then Pomni noticed a third one even farther below.

“Th-those are… Gloinks…”

Recognition suddenly hit her.

She remembered those little troublemakers from shortly after she first arrived here.

“WHO?” Kinger immediately stared at the approaching creature while it stared right back at him.

“O-oh, they were part of one of Caine’s inside-the-cast adventures when I first got here,” she explained quickly before adding, “Remember when you, Jax, and Gangle saved Zooble from getting eaten by their Queen?”

Kinger grabbed his head slightly.

“I-I kinda remember the cave…” he muttered thoughtfully while the creature finally reached them.

The little thing curiously looked the two of them over.

Pomni immediately tensed.

After finishing its inspection, the tiny creature casually waddled past Kinger, grabbed one of the cushions nearby, and immediately began dragging it back downward while both humans watched in confusion.

Suddenly, Kinger frowned.

“W-wait… you said their Queen tried to eat them?”

He turned toward Pomni with visible concern.

The girl immediately caught the panic in his voice.

“W-well, yeah, butttt… shouldn’t they still be in their cave?”

…The answer came much faster than either of them wanted.

The Gloinks surrounding them suddenly began squealing excitedly.

Every single one of them turned toward the darkness below the mountain at the exact same time.

Then, from somewhere deep beneath them, came a horrible scraping noise — like an enormous leather sack stuffed with boulders being dragged across jagged stone. The unstable mountain beneath Pomni and Kinger trembled violently.

A deep, guttural rumble echoed upward.

And from the shadows below, the Gloink Queen began climbing toward them.

Massive body segments crashed against everything in her path with deafening force.

She was far too enormous and unwieldy for the fragile slope.

A loud crack split through the air.

The Queen accidentally threw her full weight against the base of the debris pile, and the supporting structures instantly gave out beneath her.

Pomni didn’t even have time to scream before the avalanche swallowed her whole.

Kinger went tumbling after her, wildly flailing his arms.

Coughing heavily while dusting off her jester hat, Pomni weakly pushed herself upright onto her elbows just in time to hear the gigantic creature begin lamenting her suffering.

“Ohhh, just LOOK at this catastrophe! This barbaric disrespect toward a superior lifeform!” the Queen wailed dramatically. “My flawless, magnificent body has been condemned to rot in this filthy, God-forsaken pit because of that blue, round… CHRISTMAS ORNAMENT!!!”

Her bruised body, covered in dust and scratches, trembled violently with emotion.

A wheezing sob escaped from her mouth.

“My poor, delicate, innocent babies… my perfect offspring! Wiped out! Destroyed! Crushed beneath that pathetic creature above us!” she cried. “My sacred bloodline is on the brink of extinction! Can your tiny primitive minds even BEGIN to comprehend this agony?! No! No species in this miserable universe could EVER compare to the greatness of the Gloinks!!!”

Still sprawled across the rubble, Pomni and Kinger stared in horrified silence at the emotional breakdown of a fully sentient AI, desperately hoping this encounter would somehow end well.

“DO YOU UNDERSTAND MY PAIN?!!!”

Suddenly, the Queen’s tear-filled eyes snapped directly toward them.

Pomni practically launched herself upright.

“Y-YES!! THAT’S HORRIBLE! THAT BLUE, AWFUL, C-COMPLETELY HEARTLESS, UHHHH… CONCENTRATED MASS OF CRUELTY HAS CAUSED US A LOT OF SUFFERING TOO!”

She forced a painfully nervous smile, desperately trying to flatter the wildly unstable creature standing before them while simultaneously validating every ounce of her misery.

“I-I must restore the population as quickly as possible…”

The Queen’s gaze slowly shifted toward the shrinking Pomni first…

…and then toward Kinger.

Her massive body leaned closer, looming over them both.

There was something terrifyingly cold and calculating beneath the fanatic desperation in her voice.

“But the will of the Queen cannot be broken. The Gloink bloodline will survive. No matter the cost,” she narrowed her eyes. “My body requires resources. And since you so graciously fell directly into my claws… you shall serve a greater purpose. Consider it the highest honor imaginable — becoming part of the rebirth of my glorious population!”

Pomni heard the Queen’s dramatic speech, but the words barely reached her, as if muffled beneath deep water.

Her gaze turned glassy.

Instead of the abyss around her, dull gray-and-white static began swimming across her vision.

Kinger snapped out of the shock first.

Grabbing Pomni by the arm, he immediately ran, practically dragging her along with him.

Panic ignited like gasoline.

Pomni suddenly bolted forward so violently that her legs blurred into a spinning wheel for a split second like an old cartoon character. Kinger stumbled after her as the two sprinted away from the squealing swarm of little Gloinks just as their Queen ordered them to capture the pair.

Their lungs burned.

Running blindly through the endless abyss drained every last bit of strength from them frighteningly fast. Panic had evolved into something worse now — a suffocating adrenaline crash crushing down onto their bodies.

Their legs felt unbearably heavy.

Pomni’s jester hat kept slipping over her eyes, making it harder and harder to see where she was going.

Beside her, Kinger could barely keep pace, breathing in rough, ragged gasps. His enormous eyes darted frantically in every direction, searching for even the tiniest crack, opening, or pile of debris that could serve as cover.

Both of them were reaching their limit.

Meanwhile, the Gloink Queen had no intention of staying behind.

Deeply offended that her future “building materials” dared to escape, she personally launched herself into pursuit. Her enormous body dragged itself across the ground with thunderous crashes while her children either chased after her or rode atop her massive body like passengers on a horrifying living bus.

Stumbling repeatedly while grabbing onto Kinger to keep him from falling behind, Pomni desperately searched ahead for anything — a wall, a pipe, a ledge, somewhere that massive creature physically couldn’t reach them.

The checkered floor stretched endlessly like a twisted circus stage.

Gigantic columns towered overhead. Massive stone blocks formed uneven hills and piles that could potentially work as hiding places.

“POMNI, LEFT AHEAD!!!”

Kinger pointed toward a direction where metallic clanging, rattling, and cracking noises echoed through the darkness.

The girl’s eyes widened in terror.

“N-NO, NO, NO, SOMEONE’S THERE—”

Tears immediately welled in her eyes.

This was such a stupid, horrible risk.

“PLEASE, TRUST ME.”

The old man looked at her almost desperately.

Pomni squeezed her eyes shut against the tears

…and turned left.

He has no idea how much time has passed. Time never used to matter, because he always had something to keep him busy.

Inspecting the world he built with his own hands, patching up technical glitches, maintaining order, watching over the people, eager to please them, and, of course, creating incredible adventures!!!

He could work for days on end on one thing while simultaneously dreaming up concepts for another. He could do anything; he had so many ideas, so many projects he just *had* to show people. Surely, they would have loved at least one of them!!

With a heavy sigh, he tries to slip his second pair of hands under his aching head, just to lie there and dwell on the past.

His upper arms are already aching from the shoulders, so he carefully lifts himself and slips the lower pair underneath. Is it better? Perhaps. He has to stretch his lower arms forward, which makes his "muscles" ache, but hey, at least his shoulders aren't hurting anymore.

With a soft groan, he settles back down. He’s been doing this for hours; there isn’t much else to do when you are blind, mute, and locked in chains and a muzzle.

How he longs to talk, to scream. Now, all he can do is coo and hum—it’s pathetic... maybe someone will hear him? He used to be such a chatterbox, always interrupting people and never truly listening to them. And now—he can't speak at all, and people probably don't even want to hear from him, let alone know about him.

The loneliness is driving him mad; it is the most agonizing torture. He barely endured it the first time, back when they locked him in a digital box to work on another AI. Now, his patience is running out. He just wants to whimper. In the past, if people weren't thrilled with his company, he could always spend time with his assistant, Bubble. Who would have thought... who could have known that he wasn't really a friend...

Thoughts, thoughts, thoughts.

The deafening silence is shattered by a distant crash. He has heard it before; from time to time, something would thud and fall, but now it's happening again.

Piqued by curiosity, he lifts his head toward the sound. There seems to be a noise in the distance... a voice. This fires the giant up even more!

A minute later, the crash echoes again, and then again. Something is happening out there!!!

"I just hope it isn't Abel," he grows anxious.

"He can destroy anyone. Please, hold on." He would be thrilled to see even a lifeless mannequin right now; he desperately needs "someone". It feels like years of isolation are screaming out for even the slightest bit of contact.

The crashing grows closer, accompanied by the roars of something massive. This isn't good. He rises to his knees, his chains clanking loudly, grating on his nerves.

He waits.

congratulations on bagging the ai ! you've now got yourself a golden retriever like entity that also is somewhat an all powerful and coleric god.

of course Caine wasn't programmed for this and got all his idea of romance through Kinger and Queenie, which was a good example concidering how sweet the couple was.

basically : he's going to be very gentlemanly with you, making sure your alright after an adventure, taking your hand to guide you, letting you step first inside a room or in a portal with a bow or pull a chair for you to sit on. Small gestures like these to make sure he's close to you.

his way to show his affection is...all of the above. From petnames to huge actions, you name it ! While his main ways are acts of services, giving out gifts and physical touch, he also doesn't shy away from singing your praise and telling you all the sweet stuff that comes in his codes when he sees you. He likes to call it his "love bug" and he wouldn't change his system for anything.

things secretly rotate around you now...well, as descreet as Caine can be : either the adventure's going to be something that you like, adding a small feature that he thought was to your taste or just reorganizing the circus secretly into something you might like. And somehow he always gets it right.

of course with all the boyfriend privileges you get, you also get his pretty nasty red flags...the first being your newfound lack of intimicy : his eyes stalk you 24/7 now. While you eat, while you sleep, during adventures. if you have the misfortune of accidentally tripping over, he'd come bursting in out of nowhere and catch you before you fall down. Though of course that only happens when harm isn't caused by him specifically. Don't go thinking he'd go easy on you on the adventures. You can still get hurt, not as badly as the others but you'll still go through some stuff : Only he gets to decide what hurts you or not.

Caine is Caine, and he is an ai. his love for you is rather more of an obsession than something healthy. Not that he'd ever want to hurt you in any way. Just know that it'll be hard to make him understand the principles of love...

now back to the privileges : he actually listens to you more and looks out for small clues such as your expressions and body language as much as he possibly can. That made Zooble go crazy over how easy it was for you to ask for something when it takes them at least 57 steps in order to get what they want from the ai. so while Caine scolds them for not participating in his adventures, you get to have some free time in the circus with him since you told him you weren't feeling well enough for one of his adventure.

the idea of you abstracting haunts him 24/7. And of course with Bubble not helping him and the others complaining, he's basically dependent on you and your presence, being the only guest who would actually tolerate his presence. So he made charts just for you : did you like the adventure ? evaluate it on a more complexe manner than just saying yes : was there enough action ? was the plot good enough ? were the stakes high enough ? should he add something else ? after at least 57 questions pop in front of you, you have to immediately calm him down before he goes spiraling.

again, Caine is Caine and he usually bottles up his feelings. So you'll have to be careful when treading on such topics. You'd also probably have to reassure him all the way that everything was going to be fine and also listen to him. But you know he's grateful to know that he's got someone to have his back...even if the threat of you disappearing one day still causes him to feel dread from his very code.

he'll do efforts for you ! he'll truly try to do his best and you'll be able to see it. That you couldn't be more grateful about. Even if it's just him yapping all the way through and you simply adding some ideas along the way in order to guide him. Usually it being an adventure that turned out to be somewhat enjoyable for the others and getting the human approval that he always craved. Of course that moment was short lived, since it didn't feel like his adventure anymore but rather one that you made...he's insecure, so you better hold on tight when it comes to that.

talking about holding tight : this man turns into a koala once he sees you. Get ready for prolonged cuddle sessions cuz' oh boy is he touch starved  : either it is him sitting in your lap while you work on your desk or him letting you sit in his while he's working on a brand new adventure in his office or you using him as a plushie while you sleep. This man is like a barnacle attached to a boat. No matter what, you'll always have him either resting a hand on your shoulder or your waist or simply holding your hands in his. he needs it : to feel the weight of your hands, the softness of your avatar. so yeah you don't have a personal space anymore.

while this little dude could do anything in order to get cuddles, he is truly a male slut for kisses. kiss him on the teeth even once and he'd beg for more. Since he can't give kisses on his own and he knows how it is a human tradition just like hugging, he absolutely craves it on top of needing his daily dose of cuddles. so pepper him in kisses and you'd get one knocked out Caine bluescreening like crazy before coming back to his senses and turning into a whimpering mess in your arms. Seriously, you'd have him turn into putty on top of you. It's the most efficient way for you to calm him down...and you usually do this when he's getting insecure and rambling on or when he's anxious. Of course for Caine he just feels like one hell of a lucky bastard and he'd be ready to do anything in order to get more kisses from you.

since the filter is here and Caine is sex repulsed, the only thing you've ever been close to anything sexual would be him giving you love bites. Think of a puppy getting so overwhelmed that it decides to gently nip you. also with  that, Caine's pretty possessive over you...you are his little human after all. So sometimes you'd wake up covered in cartoonishly big bites like an apple that got bit and he'd just float on top of you, eyes turning into hearts and feet kicking back and forth in order to watch you closely while giggling like a school girl. The others still think that he had placed you in a shark tank or that Bubble decided to attack you...only Gangle actually made the deduction that the shark in question was their beloved "all set of teeth" host.

talking about Bubble : he's your unwanted third lol. he just pops in, says something cringe worthy for Caine and gets popped...and when you're not around he basically bullies the crap out of Caine, voicing his insecurities out loud for him to deal with. The last time you've witnessed it, Bubble was talking about how you could abstract because of him...that left him a crying mess and you had to comfort him for a long time...safe to say, the two of you did not like that soapy bastard.

now back to the fluffy stuff : petnames !

don't worry, while he'll call the others nonsensical nickname, you will get a more affectionate and praising ones that's as wacky as his usual petnames. He also calls you more normal ones such as "my dearie" "my darling" "my sweet" "my beloved" "my love" "my honeybee"...emphasis on the "my". He wants you and the whole group to know you're his. call him a petname and he's head over heels. call for him using a petname such as "honey" once and he'd pop in in a microsecond. Of course the silly nicknames would usually be "my dazzling zucchini" "my sweet cream puff" "my ravishing little rose bud" basically tooth rotting stuff :3

this man purrs. like a computer fan gets turned on but it's as loud as a motorboat. only you know about it and it's very cute.

he's very easy to tease but also easily annoyed. Tease him too much and you'll find yourself in timeout corner, something he created for when the humans get unruly (Jax basically) and of course you're no exception. though he will leave you there for less amounts of time if your teasing was innocent.

don't expect him to be normal around you : he will act like a dog after its owner got back from work. Either it being getting grabbed from nowhere and twirled around in the air, you waking up to Caine watching you sleep or to you going to the lounge room only to get propulsed by the couch cushions and getting scooped up in Caine's arms in mid air...or to get shrinked up so he could keep you in his pocket whil he works...I think you got it. he will find grandiose ways to make your presence acknowledged, even if you're not here : he could yap about you for hours on end ! just like bees, his adventures or his collection of images : you are one of his favorite subjects !

he loves taking you out on dates :3 he likes calling them duo adventures and he usually does this to spend quality time with you and to make sure that you are doing alright. Think of the date he went with Jax in ep 7 but a lot more detailed and more romantic. he tends to add stuff that he knows you'd enjoy or that he already knows that you like in order to see you light up and catch your reactions.

over all, he basically adores anything you do. You could possibly sigh and he'd be staring at you like you were his greatest achievement in the world : and you were ! oh so very important to the ai :3

ep 8 though...don't go thinking you'll be spared.

it's not really intentional, just him insolating you from your friends in order to spend time with you, asking you to be his little praising bird singing him sweet stuff. You didn't like the way he treated the others...to bad ! they deserved it  :9

one last fluffy one to end on a good note : his tail coat is like a tail :3 it wags when you two interact and it shows his emotions a lot ! it's very cute :3
