Random Edmund Pevensie moments: 355/?
We rise and we fall and we break and we make our mistakes And if there’s a reason I’m still alive When everyone who loves me has died I’m willing to wait for it.

‘‘And Edmund... try not to wander off.”
Chronicles of Narnia themed necklaces I made this week. Lamppost from The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, and quote from Voyage of the Dawn Treader. Currently reading the series after having listened to the audio dramas from Focus on the Family Radio Theatre as a kid. In love with Narnia and Lewis’s characters even more now that I’m older.
#cairparavelnetl’s December event: I think I don’t know but I think I could be brave enough
But as for Lucy, she was always gay and golden-haired, and all princes in those parts desired her to be their Queen, and her people called her Queen Lucy the Valiant
The Fall of the Golden Age
“Thought we built a dynasty that heaven couldn’t shake
Thought we built a dynasty, like nothing ever made
Thought we built a dynasty forever couldn’t break
It all fell, it all fell down.”
-Dynasty by MIIA
The Pevensies thought they be there forever. They thought that the Narnia they helped rebuild would never fall. At least they hoped it wouldn’t. So when they were finally allowed back and found Cair Paravel in ruins, their hearts broke. Because maybe if they had stayed then things would have been different. Maybe they could have saved their home and their people. Maybe Aslan would have come sooner. But they didn’t live in a world of maybes, and they couldn’t change the past. The Pevensies had left, and their golden dynasty had fallen.
A CELEBRATION FOR THE AGES
The holidays are over, & after a private moment of rest, Cair Paravel opens its doors to all Narnians once more. As the snow covers the trees, & the winds become chiller, the monarchs & all Narnians prepare for the first of the big celebrations of the year. A celebration that commemorates the love one feels for family, friends, & significant others.
As people on Earth celebrate Valentine’s Day, all Narnians celebrate the most beloved Queen Helen’s Day. That is, of course, the very theme for this month’s #cairparavelnet event. So come join us as Lucy dances with the dryads & Susan sings with the mermaids. Join us in this month’s event to celebrate all sorts of love. HOW TO PARTICIPATE
