Just remembered the first time I truly saw lesbians was that episode of Cake Boss where they made a wedding cake for a lesbian couple and I was very small and I was like “where are their husbands?” And my family was like “…it must be a double wedding…maybe they’re sisters” and I was like “then why aren’t they showing their husbands?” And my family was like “let’s watch something else”

It was like 8 feet tall and 6 feet long!! He made it for the Meadowlands to celebrate the camel and ostrich races they hold there, annually. I really want to go see them in person some day. It sounds like a blast, doesn't it? I wouldn't mind riding a camel or an ostrich, either. That would be a lot of fun, wouldn't it? It's a remarkable cake. I love the expressions on their faces!!! ❤️❤️🐪🪽❤️❤️
we desperately need a new italian american reality tv show
this is a shallow thought, but i keep thinking about what fame does to a person. specifically, what it means for a person to be too famous for consequences. as frustrating as it is to see disturbing cases have limited reach initially (chris brown anyone?) but it led to one of my favorite instances of fame getting to someone's head:
"You can't arrest me. I'm the Cake Boss!"

Did anyone religiously watch cake boss as a kid or was that just me
Was watching Buddy vs Duff (the holiday one) the other night and the theme was “winter wonderland”. My father turns to me and goes “if you were to do that prompt it be all Tim-Burton-y. Like creepy dead grass and a weird little dog and trees with no leaves. And everything’s all black and crooked and dead-looking”.
Worst part? That’s almost exactly what my immediate idea was when I heard the prompt. Something inspired by Edward Scissiorhands specifically. Father mentioned Frankenweenie, which is genuinely one of my favorite movies ever lol.
So yeah, I got completely clocked lol
