Hehehehehehehe...
(I've been holding onto this mold since last summer, I would've used it for earlier projects, but those called for much smaller cakes. The cake just came out of the oven, and it'll need a lot of time to cool. I usually use sheets of parchment paper on the bottoms of my pans to guarantee a smooth, clean removal. But, with the pattern in this mold, that's kind of impossible, so I was just a bit liberal with non-stick spray and some sprinkled cocoa powder. Hopefully it'll come out clean after cooling. I'll update for Decoration Time!)

I found some wonderful things at my local Goodwill yesterday.
1. A wiggly-legged mousy boy (and a wooden duck that's seen some things)
4. Transparent dolphin house. I sense that they also see me
2. A cake pan, perfect for when you need to summon your internet friends
3. One of those black velvet paintings-- not yet painted. The fact that it's a color-by-number gives it a cursed feel that I don't know how to describe.
5/6. A tiny glass keepsake. Not super shifty, but the disproportionate people made me slightly uncomfortable, so I think it counts.
Good quality kitchen equipment is almost always worthy of display, whether on shelves or hung on a rack.

I may be broke but at least I got some good deals, fun stuff, and can now bake my pains away lmao
So I treated myself to another set of cake pans. 6 inch circles this time, since that can make a taller cake that is pretty cute.
I think I’ll use them for my Thank God This Semester Is Over cake.
