58. Jul 21, Fri. For the WOD, only managed to complete the 40s round and the 400m run for that round.
50. Jul 5, 2017; Wed. Went home early because I wasn’t feeling so well. When I woke up, I still wasn’t sure whether I was 100% ok, or even ok enough to go to the box. I skipped the daily scrum in favor of sleep and headed to the box for the metcon when I figured I didn’t feel bad enough to call in sick for work. The workout was exhausting and I gave myself permission to bail if ever I felt sick. Thankfully, I didn’t have to bail. I didn’t finish the WOD though. The 1-mile run was enough to eat up most of the 20 minutes. It’s safe to say I ran more than I walked but the difference wasn’t so much. For most part, I walked to the gate and ran on the way back – except for 1 time when I still had a bit of energy to run towards the gate. Still had enough time to do single-unders but didn’t bother to count since I knew I couldn’t do 500 before the 20 minute time cap. Anyways, going to the box was a good decision – I did feel energized for work and had a pretty productive day!
