I beat Calasmos last night and I really like that you have to dispel his aura a la Zoma in DQ3 and that he’s got a main body and his arms a la Mortemor in DQ6
Fun fact, when I fought Calasmos in the original version of DQ11, I didn't know you were supposed to use the Sword of Light as an item to dispel his barrier so I ended up fighting him with it up the whole time lol
