Imagine: Caleb asking you to join Erudite with him so he doesn’t have to be without you.

Request: “could I have a Divergent imagine with Caleb please? Before choosing their faction, Tris & reader (fem!reader) are best friends and Caleb is a little bit infatuated with her (eg when she’s round to visit he’ll stare at her not so subtly from across the room). And the night before choosing their faction, he manages to get the courage to pull her aside and ask her to join Erudite so he doesn’t have to be without her? And they kiss with much fluff please? You were sitting in the Priors’ home for dinner with your family. You were neighbours and close friends with the family, so you often had dinner together. You were eating when you noticed Caleb staring at you, but the moment you made eye contact, he not-so-subtly looked away, blushing, you blushed just as hard. This had been going on for a few years now, you constantly kept catching Caleb staring at you, he obviously had feelings for you, and felt the same way, but you were Abnegation and pursuing any sort of romantic relationship was against the rules.

Tomorrow however, was the choosing ceremony, and after that you two could live happy lives together in Abnegation. Sure, that wasn’t exactly your aptitude, but considering what your aptitude was, it was the safest. You were a Divergent, split between Erudite and Abnegation.

You help clean up after dinner and make your way into the empty living room, you stand by the window and think about the possibility of how great your life would be if you left, but knowing you couldn’t. Caleb came up to you, “What are you choosing tomorrow?”

“We’re not supposed to talk about that,” You whisper, looking around.

He sighs, “We’ve been best friends for years Y/N, and if we’re going to end up in different factions, I want to be able to say my goodbyes.”

You look up at him, “I’m staying.”

He looks incredibly surprised, “You can’t be, I could have guaranteed that you’d get Erudite,” you look away from him instantly, “You did get Erudite didn’t you?”

“I did,” You nod.

He looks around, making sure that no one’s around and takes your hands in his, “So did I. Y/N, I know you don’t want to hurt your family, neither do I, but these are our lives. I don’t want to spend the rest of my live in the confinements of these four walls, and I know you don’t.”

“I want to leave Caleb,” You finally say, “But I can’t.”

He sighs, pulling you closer to him, “Y/N, I don’t want to be without you, please come with me.”

“Y/N!” Your hands shoot out of his when you hear your mother’s voice, “It’s time to go sweetheart!”

You say goodbye, and promise Caleb that you’d think about it.

You lay awake that night and Calebs’ words repeat in your head, they fill you with a newfound courage. Caleb is right, this is my life, I need to make my decision.

You play with your hands, the nerves getting to you while Jeanine is giving her speech. You zone out until you hear Caleb’s name being called. You shoot him a reassuring smile as he gets up. There’s an audible gasp when he drips his blood into the water. To make matters worse, Tris chooses Dauntless. Soon enough, your name is called, is this what you really want Y/N? Can you really do this to your faction? Be the third one to leave in one year? This is it, this is the last chance.

You cut your hand and move it above the stones, but once again, Caleb’s words ring through your head, ‘these are our lives.’ You move your hand and drip your blood into the water.

Applause erupt from the Erudite, and Abnegation look as solemn as ever, but at this point, you don’t care. You run up to Caleb and he pulls you into a tight hug, “You made the right choice Y/N,” He whispers.

“No,” You smile up at him, “We made the right choice.”

He squeezes your hand before pressing a chaste kiss against your lips, “This might not be the right time, but I love you Y/N, and I’m glad we get to start this new journey together.”

“I love you too Caleb,” You whisper.

Title: See how smart I am?

Submission:  Imagine a very blunt and straight forward drunk Caleb. He'd come up to you and tell you how attractive you are, offer to buy you a drink, explain what's in the drink you order and the exact measurements to make it. Somehow with his drunken suave personality he manages to get you to come home with him.

Warnings: idk. Short?

She didn’t know what happened to him, but she knew he was drunk when he stumbled over to her. ‘Hey. Y/N, did you know that you’re really beautiful?’ he bluntly said, a serious look on his face. ‘Woah, calm down, Cal’ laughed Y/N. ‘Can I buy you something?’ he ignored your remark. ‘I’ll just have a Stella Artois’ they blushed. ‘All right...’, he ordered your drink, before turning back to you to tell you something.

‘Did you know, that Stella Artois is a classic Belgian lager, golden in color with exceptional clarity and a spicy hop character. It’is brewed using only the finest natural ingredients: water, barley malt, hops, non-malted grains and Stella Artois’ unique yeast strain – a much-cherished secret that has been kept throughout the years. Stella Artois contains 5 percent alcohol by volume’ he rambled on, obviously trying to impress the H/C person in front of him.

‘Impressive’ they giggled, ‘How about, I bring you home?’. ‘Wow, sexy’ he smirked, shuffling closer to the H/C. Once again, they stifled a laugh and took his arm before finally bringing him to his apartment.
