Dilla and Caleb meet baby Miles, and adopt him not long after 💙 An alternative to this: "Zola'u nìprrte' ma Miles. Welcome to our family."

It did not take long for Dilla and Caleb to adopt Miles, they had fallen in love with the tiny baby immediately ❤️ They decided to keep the name Miles, to honor the choice of his late birth mother Paz Socorro.

Since the baby was too small for a breathing mask, Caleb and Dilla would at first take turns staying with him at the human facilities. Later the head of the facility arranges for a shack to be placed in the Omatikaya village so Dilla and Caleb can finally take their son home, and care for him there. As Miles grows up, the shack also serves as a resting space where he can take off his breathing mask, eat and sleep more comfortably e.t.c.

When Dilla gives birth to Kai the baby brothers create a bond right away, always snuggling together and crying when separated. Unfortunately at the start they must be separated often since Kai, like all Na'vi and avatars, cannot breathe in human spaces for an unlimited time, and he himself is too little for a mask. It breaks their parents hearts to keep them apart during this first times, but they still make sure they spend as much time as they can together.

"Zola'u nìprrte' ma Miles. Welcome to our family." After watching Way Of Water and reading “High Ground”, It broke my heart how neglected, left behind and pushed aside Miles/Spider was by Neytiri, Jake and basically everyone else besides the Sully children, despite him being so loyal to them and having such a gentle kind heart. 

To make myself feel better I just had to include him in our Avatar AU, in which Dilla and Caleb definitely adopt him wholeheartedly, and Miles finally has a mother, father and brother to belong to 💙

Just wanted to draw more human Caleb with Na'vi Dilla, Caleb being a silly cheesy ball and literally climbing for a kiss ❤️

After watching Avatar The Way Of Water I'm so inspired, and since this is the season dedicated to family, I decided to end my previous collection of Dilla, Caleb and their beloved little Kai with our Avatar AU! Kai's birth was a difficult one, but worth every struggle <3

He'll probably forget he needs to breathe and end up gasping for air while poor frantic Dilla tries to shove the mask back into his dumb face. He'll probably also ask for more right after.
