With an idea that it would be good for PEN.UP to be always with your daily life in the coming 2015, we held a PEN.UP contest. It’s exciting and rewarding just to think that we can appreciate PEN.UP pictures on our own desks with the calendars which are filled with your wonderful works throughout the year. Penple contributed lots of beautiful pictures to making PEN.UP calendars.
While there were too many excellent works, we had to choose 12 from them after deliberation.
Here are the 12 high-resolution works, which must have been created through a lot of efforts.
SPR_winter
Winter by SPR is the work for January. Who could be the young man enjoying ice fishing in a valley? An orange light gleaming from the window of a cottage and a thick layer of snow covering the roof, the scene is giving a sense of serenity. As making a New Year’s resolution in January, I want to travel to a silent valley covered with a thick layer of snow.
Grafixguru_Winter
Winter by Grafixguru, which describes a late winter scene, has been chosen for February.
The snow hasn’t thawed yet, and a little warmer sunshine than January may have coaxed a baby deer to come out. He looks as if looking forward to spring, shaking snow off his antlers.

It’s March, the beginning of spring. A swallow has returned riding a spring breeze. She is smiling sitting on a twig. The scene is full of the typical freshness of spring with a balance of green background and a blue bird.

April, with cherry trees in full bloom. A splendid scene full of cherry blossom is the very symbol of spring. Birds chirping, the world is getting pink. The scrupulous description by Shawnhoefer is utterly wonderful.
JS.P_Sillent – Spring
May, the queen of the seasons. While every living thing grows fast, the warmer weather makes us drowsy. JS.P describes a puppy dozing off while fishing under the shade of a mushroom. JS.P’ excellent representation has captured the details of the reflection on the water, glittering sunshine, and the shining fishing line.
SPR_summer
SPR’s another work has been chosen for June. The leaves are getting darker and the sky is getting lower, which means summer is coming. The leisurely mood and fresh green grass and trees herald the beginning of summer.

Hanna-aris’s another work has been chosen for the contest as well. Her talent is impressive as a beginner. A long-haired girl has plunged herself into the sea to grasp a gem. Just looking at the picture is enough to make us cool.
jandi_Enjoy Watermelon Island's summer!
August, the month for the summer vacation. Look at the Jandi’s imagination. The summer on the active water melon islands seems more exciting than any other water parks. Its makes us getting away right now. It seems that we have to go get a water melon now.
kina_colada_Spring fling
Just take a look at the overall mood coming from kina_colada’s work. It has been chosen for September because the bronzed skin and blonde hair remind us of a goddess of the fall. The glittering hair style is also impressive.
MrRambo_autumn
Mr. Rambo represents a sunset on a field of reeds. It can make anybody think of the fall. The reddening sky and the reeds are making a perfect scene of the fall. It’s quite romantic.
Haze_Autumn
It’s the fall in maturity. The woman’s dress as well as the trees have been tinged with red. In the autumn by Haze, the entire world is getting red.
Anim_Winter2
Anim’s work has been chosen for December, the Christmas season. Santa Claus is riding a wagon over the frozen lake. The heap of the presents behind him make me excited. The snowman below looks like Olaf.
