How the nights lasted and the days were so short. It was something she enjoyed, something she loved about the winter– but not that was over. The nights were gone, they were being replaced by long days that made her head hurt and her mind run. She hated it, despised it, but at the same time she wasn’t sure what else she could say on the matter. She just had to wait patiently, wait for the time to tick away, for the year to age. As she worked and worked, mixing and casting, her spells seemed to grow ever more fruitful. While she wanted that dime, there were other things she also needed to accomplish. Other goals to meet while the nights were shortening.
She didn’t expect, however, for there to be an intruder. She hated intruders, her home was sacred, her place for casting, her world of her own. Here she was silently left alone, here she was forgotten about by the world. The world that had forsaken her so long ago, she didn’t need to see a single face of them while she was here. Why? Because that’s how she wanted it. She wanted herself to be hidden away, to be by her lonesome. If nobody came to bother her than she’d be happy. The only time she wanted to see anyone was when she left, when she escaped her home to go on the offensive, to launch another mind bending scheme.
“And who dares try to bother me this time…” She hissed sharply, her mind reeling as she went to go seek them out. This was not going to happen, this was not going to ever be the case. Never would she let a secret slip out, a hidden meaning show itself, if it could put this world she made for herself in jeopardy than she didn’t want to risk it. Seeking out the intruder, it was rather difficult but she found them, eventually, with a little help from her magic. Her spells were always so useful, her talents always so well prepared for her use. The character she found was rather… Unexpected.
“What do you think you’re doing!?”
