I really don't get being mad at Heated Rivalry for existing because "what about lesbian shows? How come nobody cares about those?" like 1) people are watching lesbian shows, but there is not a lesbian 1:1 example of a show like this (extremely horny romance) so yelling at HR fans for not watching Pluribus or whatever feels a little silly, and 2) it's not like shows about gay men are in abundance either. It's not like you can go to a network and say "I wanna make a gay romance show!" and immediately get greenlit. It's not like gay men aren't still treated as taboo in the mainstream media. Like, let's get some perspective here.
