Hey! Your cool, Why do you ship Pearl and callie? Is it just a thing or?

I've been shipping Pearl and Callie together since August I think. I remember seeing an Idol Ship tier list and wanted to see what mine would be like, and when I got to the Calpearl option I thought 'Huh, I don't see those two depicted together a lot, romantically or even platonically, but they make a great pairing!'
And then. And then the obsession began.
I started thinking of what a possible relationship between them would be like and was overwhelmed with ideas because this rarepair is basically nonexistent so I had plenty to work with. I started drawing them together and realised that this ship made me... happy, if that makes any sense? I loved the dynamic I had created for them and it was like it was my special thing, since no-one else actively ships them. That doesn't stop me from wanting this ship to get more popular though lol
Ever since then it's been one of my top ships, though I am a multishipper so I also enjoy other variations, like Capearlinacht (which is a whole other rabbit hole hehehe)
Recently I've been getting the urge to draw other rarepairs (specifically Callie X Frye and Shiver X Marina). I think that's just how I am - I see pairings with not much content but a lot of potential and get the urge to create for it, and I guess Pearl X Callie was the one I latched onto haha
That's basically it. Thanks so much for asking!!! As I said above I'd love to see some more people pay attention to this ship, though I do like the fact that to some people I am the Calpearl person lol.
An extra note: I've collected loads of different names for them! So far these are the tags I use: Pearllie, Calpearl, Pinkshipping, Pearlyblush, Pop Queens, Pearl X Callie and Callie X Pearl. Also Clashing Hues of Pink to a certain extent, as that is the name of the oneshot I wrote about them.
