Healer (False treating Drew now duu it)
Healer: My/your character helping your/my character when they are hurt/sick. (Be specific on who gets which role, and whether the pain is physical, emotional, or just having to catch a fever)
My dearest Niichan is no monster... he makes things better...
Drew had been walking along the long trail in the forest that led straight to the sanatorium if you went in the right direction. With her hands in her jacket pockets, the wind was slightly picking up as it softly sent her hair flowing in one direction. The leaves crunched with every step she took but she was focused on one thought only. Today, she was going to go and visit her favorite brother in the entire world.
As she continued to walk, she heard a few feminine voices nearby. Upon closer inspection, she noticed that it was three girls who looked like they were best friends. A part of her heart was struck with pain because Drew never really experienced such a feeling in the future or even now. Sighing, she tried to move away from them to get to the sanatorium faster but it's what they said that made her stop in tracks.
"Did you hear about the legend of the monster who lives in this very forest?" said the girl.
"What? ... Are you trying to scare us again?" said another, fear clearly in her tone of voice.
"Shut up. Anyway, the legend states that he lives alone. I heard that he kills people too if you get close to this... oh what is it called? A sanatorium?" she mentioned.
Drew narrowed her eyes as she charged toward the girls, approaching them roughly while turning one of them around to glare at them. She was hoping that they weren't referring to her brother at all.
"Excuse me? What are you doing?" the girl said, glaring at Drew as she jerked away from her and straightened up her clothes.
"... What you just said... did you say sanatorium? You're lying, aren't you?" Drew said, stubbornly crossing her arms.
The girl looked disgusted but she pressed forward with the idea as she crossed her arms as well.
"I'm not. This monster lives in a sanatorium who kills people and has no heart. That's good because he doesn't deserve any love at all. Somebody like that shouldn't belong in this world in the first place." she smirked, watching Drew get angrier by the second.
"Take it back! ... TAKE IT BACK NOW!" she screamed, covering her head as she started to breathe heavily.
"How about I don't? ... They say if you go in there then the monster will kill you. Heh, he's like a beast that nobody would want to be around because he deserves the loneliness..." she continued, not caring or flinching at Drew's scream.
Drew felt herself cracking deeply on the inside and for the first time, she had evoked anger toward another human being while she was here. If there was one thing, she didn't want the wrong image of False being spread around. Her precious brother was not like the description that was given at all.
"Niichan isn't a monster! Don't talk and act as if you know what goes on around you because you don't!" she screamed loudly, pressing a punch toward the girl's face.
The girl dropped to the ground with a bloody nose and immediately, this set off a fight between Drew and all three girls. From left to right, punches were being thrown in all sorts of directions. Drew had her hair pulled on and she was kicked and shoved around by all three girls. Getting up, Drew staggered and knocked down more punches to their faces as she found it hard to control her abilities now.
How dare you say mean things about my Niichan... you don't know him!
"Are you crazy!? Maybe you should be like that monster then!" screamed the girl, backing away from the twitching Drew. The girls ditched the scene before Drew was shoved to the ground once more. There was tears streaming down her face after she landed on her ankle. She had sprained it after landing roughly on it in the wrong way. The physical pain could not compare to the emotional pain she was feeling. She never never wanted someone to talk bad about her big brother at all. He wasn't a monster to her for he was a healer.
"N-Nobody gets it... Niichan is no monster...." she said in a broken tone.
As she covered her face, Drew continued to cry until a pair of hands lifted her up from the ground. Opening her eyes carefully, she noticed through her blurry tears that it was False. He had heard her scream and came rushing to find her. Niichan... he came to save me... Instantly, she wrapped her arms around his neck and held onto him. Not a word could be said as the two headed back to the sanatorium.
It was there that False started to treat her wounds carefully. He was able to wrap a few bandages around her swollen ankle. False made sure that he was gentle with every move he made. Afterward, he treated her scrapes and bruises that were scattered on various parts of her body with the antibiotics he had. There was still silence from the boy as he had not said one word this entire time.
"Drew... why did you do it? They're not worth it--" he was cut off immediately.
"Because Niichan! They were calling you a monster! They were saying things like how you kill people or that you deserve loneliness or that you even have no heart! But that's not true! It's not! It's... not..." she said, gripping the edge of the bed tightly.
False glanced up at his little sister, eyes widened.
"Niichan is very sweet! You have a heart and you deserve happiness and you don't kill people unless you had no other choice. Niichan loves everyone! Niichan is the best brother in the world..." she said, bangs covering her eyes as she started to cry again. The tears were streaming down her cheeks once again.
The Trump was slightly taken aback by her tears and a part of him felt shattered in that moment. Pulling her into his arms, he hugged the girl tightly and stroking her hair softly. He couldn't let go of her in that moment because if he did, he was afraid that the girl would break in his arms.
"N-Niichan..." she cried loudly, wailing like a little child as she buried her face into his shoulder.
"... You talk too much, kid. You have to let me speak sometimes, you know. Humans are easily entertained, aren't they? They'll make up myths and legends just to get reactions out of others. Yet fighting isn't always the answer. I don't condone behavior like that from you because you're Haruka's and I want her to trust me when I take care of you. ... But on the other hand, brat, thank you for sticking up for me..." he whispered, flicking her on the forehead.
It wasn't just physically but emotionally, False was able to help treat her. She was about to protest but he put a finger to her lips as he grinned toward her childishly. Drew was now being the one who was surprised. The smile she saw was one that said he appreciated every ounce of love that she had for him. There wasn't many who could do what she did -- sticking up for him and proving that there was indeed love in their heart for False.
"Next time, I'll be there but you have to stop crying. You're not a baby, are you?" he teased, poking her sides as she tried to clear up her tears.
Drew didn't know why he wasn't yelling at her like her parents would when they were concerned for her safety. She didn't know what his motive was. Feeling his pokes, she squirmed a bit before it turned into a blown out tickling session. Drew couldn't stop laughing as she tried to pull him away. "N-Niichan, stop it!" she laughed, grabbing a pillow to smack him on the head with it.
It sent feathers flying everywhere as False glared at her playfully. "Oyaji!" she yelled, now smiling. This was False's goal for healing Drew -- he'd treat her wounds but he'd also make her smile to forget the pain because he liked it when she smiled more and didn't cry. "Brat!" he yelled back, taking her by the head carefully to ruffle her hair.
As the feathers descended from the air, the two laid there on the bed in silence while staring up at the ceiling. They were laughing and grinning with one another as they both glanced at each other. It was because of moments like this where False treated her that she appreciated him wholeheartedly.
Both the brother and the sister held hands unconsciously until False said one last thing.
"I'll always be here to wipe away the pain, Drew..."
False would be the healer that Drew needed in her life when things got rough and she didn't know what to do. Whether it was physically, emotionally, or any other way... False would take it away. This was the ongoing tale of Kudo Drew and an eternal flower named False; both whom found a piece of happiness in one another.
Niichan is no monster.... he takes away pain and becomes my healer...
