So we've covered the jumps-let's move on to spins. This one will be a little harder since, while yes there are general groups/kinds of spins
“It doesn’t have to have a million rhinestones or cost thousands of dollars, but is it that hard to get a shirt that fits and doesn’t expose your 6-pack every time you do a camel spin?”

Honestly I haven’t been very productive; having that unproductive roadblock in my mind. I have exams this week though so I really need to start cracking down again but here I am. Had a bit of a productive day on the ice rink today though! Worked on jumps today, half-flips, toe loops, salchows, and the sorts.
Came back to the apartment and I just really want to keep skating like if I could get there everyday somehow I would. I did a camel spin for the first time last week and really wanted to work on that since spins are more of my forte than jumps but I still need to work on jumps anyways.
I think that’s it for me for now at least. I’ll try and get myself to study and be productive for the week though. Will try and keep updated!

I gif-ed a few bits from this video a year ago, but finally got around to sub the whole thing. Quite a funny show, plus, that last scene is adorable (Shoma being Shoma and Yuzu being a protective proud mom, what can be better xD)
how do I hold a camel spin for more than 3 rotations? I feel like going from a backwards crossover entrance doesn't help and all my spins just seem extremely slow :(
Enter your spin from a deep knee bend and make sure to push into it. Keep your hips aligned over your boot so you’re on a flat edge. Don’t let your shoulders rotate to face out of the circle. Try looking in the direction you’re spinning (to the left if you spin CCW, to the right if you spin CW). Try to have a faster entrance into the spin as well from your crossovers.
