High School SMs Trying to Decide What to Do With Their Lives:
My babies, consider politics. If you don’t think you want to become a professional theatre tech, consider politics.
I’m not saying become a politician (though imagine if our country were run by SMs), but consider other political positions. Campaign management, personal assistants to politicians, all of it.
I found out halfway through my first semester of my freshman year that this is what I was built for. I volunteered for a campaign and the people who had been doing this for their actual jobs were shocked at how well I picked everything up. How was I so good? I’m an effing stage manager, that’s how.
It’s sorting, it’s organizing, it’s spreadsheets. The further up you get, the more it becomes stage management. You’re running events, blocking out appearances, leading people.
This is what we were born to do.
Information Systems as a DM
As a person who prefers digital mediums for organization and structuring and who truly geeks out about good information systems I’ve tried a number of digital tools in an attempt to document the world. Thankfully a lot of the note taking world has converged on at least some semblance of interoperability with Markdown or other import/export formats, so changing it up hasn’t been that much trouble.
I used to manage my world info and campaign through Evernote.
Screenshot of some my notes below
It did a few things well, particularly images, tables, and their tagging structure was really useful. This worked for quite a while, although cross-linking notes was cumbersome and creating public or shared content was much more difficult within a single Notebook.
So, when I learned that Quip could handle @ mentioning notes from other notes and had a nice import from Evernote feature, I made the transition over to Quip for a while.
Example screenshot where I’m prepping for a session. Note the blue text are links.
I think the biggest pain working with Quip was formatting sometimes a struggle and it could be laboriously slow sometimes with multiple windows open. When I heard about Notion, a new note taking tool I gave it a spin.
Notion supported @ mentioning other notes, lots of useful layout and formatting options, great private/public settings for sharing content, as well as some power user features like “Template” buttons.
An example layout showing one of the deities
I’ve since basically gone all in on Notion. Their support is excellent when things have gown awry, they have done a lot of continuous development work and improvements (recently releasing a beta iOS app).
Probably my favorite thing for Notion though is the “Template” buttons. They look quite simple to start...
Image below of some of the template buttons I’ve created.
But what really makes them powerful is the ability configure what shows up in the pages that the buttons create. As an example here’s one of my templates for a “Point of Interest” I use when I’m building out a location or region.
There’s a lot of boilerplate sections, some of which I might use or not, and there are “image” buttons which let you embed a web image from a URL or upload a photo from local.
But where the “Template” buttons really shine is when you start layering them within each other.
This page was created with my + New location “Template” button. As you can see it has some of the standard boilerplate pieces, but then it also contains a number of other template buttons that I can use to quickly build out additional content without having to create content elsewhere with templates and then drop it. If only template buttons were accessible by the / command syntax that Notion uses, but alas not yet.
Anyways, that’s a short primer on the basic tools I use to organize the knowledge about my world, create new content, and share it with my players.
Why Businesses Choose That PR Firm
In a competitive business environment, being visible is no longer enough. Brands need to be recognised, trusted and remembered by the right audience. This is where strategic public relations can make a meaningful difference. From securing media attention to building digital credibility, the right PR partner can help businesses communicate their value and create stronger connections with their audiences.
That PR Firm helps brands turn their stories into opportunities through strategic communication, media relations, influencer partnerships, content and reputation-building initiatives. With a practical understanding of modern marketing and public relations, the agency works with businesses to create visibility that supports long-term growth.
A Strategic Approach to Modern Public Relations
Public relations has evolved far beyond traditional press releases. Today, successful PR requires a combination of storytelling, media relations, digital communication, influencer collaborations and audience understanding.
Businesses looking for the top pr agencies in mumbai often want more than media mentions. They want a strategic partner that understands their objectives and can translate those objectives into meaningful communication.
That PR Firm focuses on developing PR strategies around each brand’s identity, audience and business goals. Instead of relying on a one-size-fits-all approach, the team develops communication ideas that are relevant to the brand and its market.
Understanding the Brand Before Building the Strategy
Every brand has a different story. A startup may need awareness and credibility, while an established business may want to strengthen its reputation or launch a new product.
That is why understanding the brand comes first. That PR Firm takes time to understand the business, its audience, positioning and communication objectives before developing campaigns.
Turning Business Goals Into Communication Opportunities
A successful PR campaign should contribute to a larger business objective.
Whether the goal is:
Building brand awareness
Launching a product
Increasing credibility
Reaching a new audience
Creating media visibility
Strengthening online reputation
Supporting a campaign
Building relationships with influencers
PR becomes more effective when communication is connected to measurable business priorities.
Creating Stories People Want to Notice
People are exposed to countless brand messages every day. A strong story can help a business stand out.
That PR Firm focuses on finding the interesting, relevant and newsworthy elements within a brand and transforming them into communication opportunities that can capture attention.
Media Visibility That Builds Credibility
Media coverage can play an important role in establishing trust. When a business appears in relevant publications or is featured through credible media platforms, it can strengthen its authority in the eyes of potential customers.
However, meaningful PR is not simply about collecting media links. The quality, relevance and context of coverage matter.
That PR Firm works on identifying suitable media opportunities based on the brand, industry and target audience. The objective is to position brands in spaces where their stories can reach people who matter to their business.
Reaching the Right Publications
Not every publication is suitable for every brand. A technology company, fashion label, restaurant, startup and corporate organisation may require completely different media strategies.
A focused approach helps businesses pursue relevant opportunities rather than chasing visibility without a clear purpose.
Building Authority Through Consistent Presence
One media feature can create awareness, but consistent visibility can help establish stronger brand recognition.
Strategic PR can help businesses maintain a steady presence through:
Expert commentary
Founder stories
Product launches
Business announcements
Industry insights
Interviews
Feature opportunities
Campaign-related coverage
Making Media Coverage More Valuable
The value of coverage extends beyond the publication itself. Businesses can repurpose relevant coverage across their website, social media channels, presentations, sales material and other communication platforms.
This allows one successful PR opportunity to contribute to a broader brand communication strategy.
Influencer Marketing With Purpose
Influencer marketing has become an important part of modern brand communication. However, selecting influencers simply because they have a large following does not guarantee results.
The right creator should align with the brand’s audience, personality, objectives and campaign message.
As an Influencer marketing agency in mumbai, That PR Firm helps brands approach influencer collaborations strategically. The focus is on finding relevant creators and developing campaigns that feel authentic while communicating the brand’s message effectively.
Choosing Relevance Over Just Reach
A creator with a smaller but highly engaged audience can sometimes be more valuable than a creator with millions of followers.
Factors such as:
Audience relevance
Engagement
Content quality
Brand compatibility
Creator credibility
Campaign objectives
can influence the effectiveness of an influencer campaign.
Creating Campaigns That Feel Natural
Audiences are increasingly aware of promotional content. Influencer campaigns therefore need to feel natural rather than forced.
That PR Firm works toward developing collaborations where the brand message fits naturally into the creator’s content style and audience expectations.
Combining Influencers With PR
Influencer marketing can become even more effective when integrated with a broader PR campaign.
For example, a product launch can combine influencer collaborations, media outreach, social media content and strategic campaign management to create multiple touchpoints around the same story.
A Team That Understands Brand Communication
Choosing a PR partner is also about choosing people who understand how to communicate your brand.
Businesses often need an agency that can move quickly, understand changing trends and respond to opportunities without losing sight of the bigger strategy.
That PR Firm brings together expertise across public relations, media coverage, influencer marketing, content creation, campaign management, social media management, celebrity sourcing and online reputation management.
Integrated Services Under One Roof
Managing multiple communication activities through separate agencies can make campaigns complicated.
An integrated PR partner can help maintain consistency across different channels.
From Strategy to Execution
That PR Firm supports brands across different stages of campaign execution, including:
Campaign planning
Content development
Media outreach
Influencer coordination
Campaign management
Social media support
Reputation management
Celebrity sourcing
This integrated approach allows different communication activities to work toward a common objective.
Consistency Across Every Brand Touchpoint
A consistent brand message can make communication more recognisable and professional.
From a media pitch to an influencer collaboration, every communication opportunity should reinforce the brand’s positioning.
Flexible PR Solutions for Different Businesses
Every business operates differently. A startup may have a limited budget and require awareness, while an established organisation may need a larger reputation or product communication strategy.
That PR Firm develops flexible solutions based on individual business requirements instead of forcing every client into the same campaign structure.
Supporting Startups and Growing Brands
For emerging businesses, credibility can be one of the biggest challenges.
A pr agency in mumbai can help businesses develop communication strategies that introduce their story to relevant audiences and create opportunities for greater visibility.
PR can support startups through founder positioning, media outreach, product announcements, thought leadership and influencer campaigns.
Helping Established Brands Stay Relevant
Established brands also need continuous communication.
Markets change, competitors evolve and audience expectations shift. Consistent PR can help established companies maintain relevance while introducing new products, campaigns, initiatives or brand stories.
Adapting Communication to the Market
Good PR requires adaptability. A strategy that worked several years ago may not produce the same results today.
That PR Firm combines strategic thinking with current media and digital communication trends to help brands adapt their messaging when required.
Reputation Is Treated as a Long-Term Asset
Brand reputation is built over time. It can be influenced by media coverage, customer experiences, online conversations, social media activity and public perception.
This makes reputation management an important part of modern communication.
That PR Firm helps businesses approach reputation proactively by creating positive communication opportunities and supporting online reputation management initiatives.
Building Trust Before a Crisis Happens
PR should not only begin when a brand faces a problem.
Consistent positive communication can help establish credibility before a crisis occurs. When a business already has a strong reputation and clear communication presence, it may be better positioned to respond to challenges.
Managing Communication During Important Moments
Businesses may face situations such as:
Product launches
Rebranding
New leadership announcements
Public criticism
Business expansion
Major partnerships
Campaign launches
Each situation requires thoughtful communication.
Protecting the Brand Voice
During important moments, inconsistent messaging can create confusion. A clear communication strategy helps ensure that the brand’s voice remains professional, relevant and aligned with its positioning.
Why Businesses Continue to Choose That PR Firm
Businesses choose PR partners based on more than a list of services. They look for strategic thinking, creativity, responsiveness, communication and the ability to understand their business.
That PR Firm focuses on building meaningful brand visibility rather than simply generating noise. Its integrated approach combines PR, media, influencers, content and digital communication to create stronger opportunities for brands.
What Sets That PR Firm Apart
Several factors make the agency a valuable communication partner:
Strategic Thinking
Campaigns begin with understanding the brand and its objectives rather than immediately jumping into execution.
Creative Storytelling
The team looks for stories and angles that can make brands more interesting and relevant to their audiences.
Integrated Communication
PR, influencer marketing, content, social media and reputation management can work together rather than functioning as isolated activities.
Personalised Campaigns
Different brands require different approaches. Campaigns are developed around the business, audience and communication objectives.
Focus on Long-Term Visibility
The goal is to help businesses build recognition and credibility that can continue beyond a single campaign.
Choose a PR Partner That Understands Your Ambition
The right PR agency should feel like an extension of your brand team. It should understand where your business is today, where you want to go and what needs to happen to bridge that gap.
That PR Firm works with businesses to create strategic communication opportunities across media, influencers, content and digital platforms. Whether you are launching a new brand, expanding an existing business or looking to strengthen your market presence, a focused PR strategy can help you communicate with greater clarity and confidence.

The automation question nobody asks: what did the system use as input?
TL; DR
When an automated campaign produces an odd headline, chooses the wrong page, or makes an overconfident claim, the first question should not be "Why did the AI do that?"
Ask what it was given to work with.
Automation can only reflect the landing pages, URLs, product details, images, claims, and settings supplied to it.
Quick summary
Before using automated campaign features, check:
Is the landing page clear?
Are the claims accurate and current?
Are the images and testimonials permissioned?
Are the possible destination URLs appropriate?
Is the conversion event worth optimizing for?
Bad input does not become good because a system processes it quickly.
An automated asset can look polished and still be wrong.
It may use a vague line from the landing page as the main promise. It may send people to an older article instead of the current product page. It may turn a narrow result into a broad claim because the original wording did not explain the condition.
The obvious reaction is to blame the system.
Sometimes the system made a poor choice. Often, it was given poor material to choose from.
Think about what sits upstream from the final ad or campaign:
the landing page
the page title and headings
product descriptions
available images
older campaign assets
selected URLs
conversion settings
audience signals
If those inputs are unclear, out of date, or inconsistent, automation can spread the problem faster than a person would.
A good input review does not need to be complicated.
Open the destination page and ask four questions:
What is being offered?
Who is it for?
What can a visitor reasonably expect?
What evidence supports the important claim?
Then look at the potential assets.
Would you be comfortable seeing each image, quote, headline, and call to action in front of a stranger who has never heard of the subject?
If not, do not ask a system to multiply it.
Google's current Ads guidance makes the responsibility clear. Automatically generated assets can be suggested, reviewed, added, or dismissed. Advertisers remain responsible for reviewing generated campaigns and assets before they go live.
That is a useful standard outside advertising too.
Before automating a workflow, clean up the source material.
A clear page produces clearer output. An accurate claim produces safer variations. A meaningful conversion event gives the system better feedback.
The system is not starting from nowhere.
It is starting from what you gave it.
