i dont exactly love how this turned out but eh. i think the letters could be better and i cant say i really like how i drew cami or mai but whatever. also leons hair is so fucking big but in my defense in his official art he's a cabezon ok.

HOWEVER i think this is a big improvement when i compare it to some of my past drawings so its not all bad. yay 👍

please dont ask abt the random filters or the background. or the newspaper cutout i. genuinely dont know ok.

ok so. the way i chose them is is not parallels but opposites of the parallels (<- just saying shit)

i mentioned in an old post that i think mai and puppet are like yin and yang and so are mai and cami. so i wanted to include leon this time to complete this and elaborate a bit on that. so now watch me explain it in such an awful way that you won't understand what point im even trying to make 💗

to ME cami and leon are parallels to mai and puppet. kind of like a "what if the twins were playing for the bad guys" or something. and i think the parallels are puppet/cami and mai/leon (contrary to some tags i wrote on one of loops' posts. i thought it over and reached a different conclusion)

this is mostly cause i think their personalities are kinda similar (at least the personality ive seen given to leon by the fandom since his actual personality is...? uhm. smiling and extending his arms or something), with mai and leon being energetic and off-putting while cami and puppet are calmer... and off-putting (not that puppet isn't energetic, but i'd say they're calmer than mai, at least s2 onwards but i might also be remembering this wrong lol), not to mention that both puppet and cami have a connection with the shadows and the shadow world or whatever.

mai and puppet are yin and yang i'd say since the whole puppet/fred & mai/freddy always made me associate puppet with darkness, negativity and other yin attributes & mai with light, positivity and other yang attributes. and i also think the same applies to cami and leon for a similar reason.

so it was definitely because of that and totally not because i wanted to tag as ship art and favor some ships over others!! (...partially!)

tldr; mai/puppet & cami/leon are parallels and also yin and yang so i put them with their parallel's opposite. cami(yin)/mai(yang) & puppet(yin)/leon(yang). whagever . this shit is so ass
