I generally like the idea that after UTRH Jason mellowed out and became like some dude on your couch.

Like yeah he’s still an anti-hero and like all the shit that he does with the outsiders is still canon… but he’s just… like also regular on Dicks couch.

He has an apartment and about 300 safe houses scattered around the globe which is actually lowkey impressive.

Him and Dick haven’t even made up, there’s a bunch of tension and stress and awkward looks

But he’s on the couch and Dick has to buy pralines and cream ice cream bc Jason is an old man and also bc if he comes home from work to hear Jason bitching about the fact he only has mint chocolate chip ONE MORE TIME. He’ll lose it

So yeah Jason sits on the couch

I feel like I've put up with a lot of crap from Marvel, even defended them to other people and preached patience and all that 'let them tell the story before passing judgement' nonsense. But I've officially hit my bullshit limit, and I'm done.

My teenage bedroom is in the attic and when I'm back home visiting my family I sleep up there.

Generally it gets so stuffy, that I keep both of the windows I have up there open 24/7. In the summer it's even worse.

Now. Because I live in the attic, like a gremlin, and my windows are open at all times of the day, there are sometimes insects, mainly spiders and wasps, that come in.

No problem. If the spider is seen I kill it. No excuse, you've enroached on my territory AND you're stupid enough to let yourself be seen, you're going to get squashed.

With wasps I usually just tilt my windows a bit more, making the opening bigger so they don't make themselves angry, because they're just continuously crashing against the window. They're more annoying though, because I'm a light sleeper and they have a tendency to come in and buzz around angrily when I am, in fact, snoozing. I don't like wasps. I stepped on one once and it wasn't pleasant. The buzzing also makes me anxious, so I'm not able to fall asleep unless I KNOW that it's truly gone from the premises.

Here comes the problem. I expect and in fact DEPEND on them just being temporary visitors. So then TELL ME WHY I find one of them motherfuckers flying into a hole in the wallpanels the other day and not coming out?? Like it's his home!

EXCUSE YOU, JANE PRENTISS, but this attic is only big enough for one of us. And even if it is just and attic poorly disguised as a bedroom, IT'S MINE.
