Honestly?? There isn’t one word, I swear every friend of mine calls their mother something different! I call mine mum or mom interchangeably but I’ve also heard ‘momma’, ‘mummy’ or ‘mama’. This country is a mishmash of cultures and people so you get all sorts but if I had to guess I’d say ‘mom’ would be more common! 💘🇨🇦
i mean i say mum (and my mum gets jokingly upset if i say mom) but thats mostly because her parents were scottish so she said mum and its been passed down. most of my friends say mom. i think it depends on your family really. idk canada is weird.
Canada really be like that, huh. I can’t call my mom ‘mother’ because she hates it. I grew up calling her ‘mummy’ so as I got older it just sort of shortened to ‘mum’?? But you’re right I totally think it’s a family thing.

I live in BC and we have mostly hydro dams for power but there are a few windfarms and everytime I see them I get so excited I think they look so cool and powerful and pretty and I love them idk I’m weird and passionate about enviro science
Yes!! Me too!! Especailly in BC I can’t even imagine, that’s one of the most gorgeous provinces in Canada and I think it’s wonderful that windfarms are starting to come in instead of y’know, less resourceful methods. There’s a lot of people here protesting them and I just can’t help but love them. It’s not weird at all to be passionate about enviro science, you get to look at the world from a whole new perspective!
