Today has been such an emotional day for us. I have been to the Aultman Cancer Center for almost 5 months, and the last 12 weeks I have been there every Friday. These nurses (plus a few that were off today) have become my friends and like family. They have taken the best care of me, and so when I rang that bell I knew that those weekly visits were coming to an end. Then we came home to our driveway and garage being decorated by our neighbor. It was such a sweet surprise! I cannot wait to start the rest of this journey. Giving away my Birthday:: Today is my birthday! I love birthdays! It’s the one day of the year when it’s socially acceptable to be selfish as fuh #treatyoself. But in honor of my nosedive into #oldladydom (and because my liver just can’t do what it used to), l’ve decided to “donate my birthday” to charity. Give away all the money I would’ve wasted on watered-down drinks in a musty Seoul nightclub.

So, this year, I’m asking friends and family to join me in donating to the @americancancersociety. We’ve all known someone who’s been affected by cancer.
