Astra: I just saw a blog respond via reblog to a very popular endo syscourser (you'll know the one it isn't hard to find) and tag their response with endos dni. Like bro, buddy, pal, that isn't how this works XD

I'm honestly getting kinda sick of Tumblr dni culture entirely. It's very much a this platform type of behavior that you don't see elsewhere much and feels more and more like just a socially accepted form of echo chamber creation, and one made out of scotch tape and paper at that. If it doesn't actually do its job and barely anyone uses it properly what is even the point in it? This is a genuine question btw I'm fully open to a discussion on the pros and cons.

We've been getting really interested in cyberpunk settings again over the last week, especially the Cyberpunk 2020 to 2077 setting.

The ways technology could change how we view fundamental aspects of humanity is fascinating, especially from lenses such as plurality and tulpamancy. We personally have to wonder if technology could allow for new forms of tulpamancy like practices and plural types in the future with things like brain implants and AI advancements.

@sophieinwonderland discussed this a bit back on her blog from the lense of virtual reality tech and plurality intersecting. We are more interested in things like AI assistance implants, chips that allow for thought based access to the web, and other such things though. Cyberpunk 2077 actually had an interesting version of this with V and Johnny, but theirs was a tragic and physically damaging form of plurality although they did get along eventually. Theoretically the chip could have been redesigned to allow them to live together without the health issues but in a grim universe like 2077 that wasn't meant to be. Our world could be different though. The future has many possibilities and we personally can't wait to see what comes of it.

Astra: I don't know what the hell is going on but it looks like Circ's meme we reblogged the other day became legit just the truth. What the fuck tumblr, why have we gone ten steps back in less than a month? Where they did did all of the anti's come from? Did Twitter do another migration without us noticing?

It could just be us but as a tulpa system we've always struggled to grasp the difference between "monoconscious" and "polyconscious".

For one we seem to experience things claimed by both titles as exclusive to them, or atleast what others tell us is exclusive to them in the plural community. Secondly these terms just don't exist in the tulpamancy community for the most part. Either you are a tulpamancy system, or you are not. There is a million+ variations between systems but that isn't one of them that's discussed. I suppose one thing similar to the concept in the tulpamancy community would be parallel processing but that's kind of it's own can of worms with much controversy and has a lot of general dismissal of it as scientifically impossible with current understandings of neurology. It would be interesting to make a post on that subject one day but this is more of a quick rant type thing.

Maybe one day we'll figure out where we fall on that spectrum, but for now we just scratch our heads at either term. We also feel a weird repulsion to monoconscious even though it in some ways seems to be more fitting. It just feels wrong or invalidating to us for some reason. That isn't to say the word is inherently invalidating at all, it isn't. It's just a weird feeling on our end.
