It all starts once Janine ends class. Gordo has already closed that door from habit after carefully slipping away from the lecture. Not that he doesn’t even care about its ongoing subject matter, but he vanished earlier on purpose for this special day.
In the middle of packing up to leave as usual, Jan looks over and smiles, almost dropping her jaw.
“Happy birthday.” Regardless of his smile, Gordo sounds oddly small and timid. To him, carrying this cake with numbered candles would be much tougher than strolling without gravity on the moon.
“Aw.” Janine holds her heart, forever thankful as Gordo carefully sets down the cake on one table set near the back wall. “This is so sweet, thank you.”
Meanwhile, that morning, Danielle Poole handed a birthday card to Janine in the hallway, but never told her about Gordo’s moment with this cake.
“Planned on waiting until tonight, but I wanted to surprise you. We’ve been so busy lately, so I thought this would slow things down.” Gordo insists, watching as Janine sets her curls back for just a moment and blows out candles found on that cake.
“Thank you.” Janine repeats herself, but Gordo wants to cut both pieces for each of them. This woman deserves to be spoiled, no matter how many dates go on now and the future.

Later that night at Janine’s house, Gordo shares dinner and pours wine, continuing to spoil her. Neither one of them thankfully aren’t drunk at this point, but the alcohol still warms their bodies. They’ve laughed, cuddling and needing to be close.
“Got another surprise for you.” Gordo teases, scooting closer and caressing Janine’s face as she smiles against his mustache. His lips are so damn soft, gentle and wanting. No matter how many times she focuses at work, she’d rather kiss him.
“Oh?” Jan arches her bow, intrigued. “What else did you get for me? Today has been wonderful, Gordo.”
Just when Gordo plans to respond, the doorbell rings. It takes everything in him not smirk and somehow give another surprise away.
“Hold on. Please don’t move, Honey. I’ll be right back.” Gordo lifts her chin and earns that amazing kiss, regrettably turning away prior to answering the front door.

“Are you ready to do this for her, Buddy Boy? We could always change the plan if you’re not comfortable.” Facing Gordo, Ed slyly attempts to keep himself away from the main threshold, keeping his presence veiled until the right moment.
“Thanks for checking in with me, but yeah I’m good. As long as Janine’s okay with this idea, we’re all set. Come in.” Gordo whispers, drawling his Southern accent just a little bit more than expected.
Within seconds of entering that doorway, Ed can already see Jan from the angle of his peripheral vision.
“Ed?” Janine smiles, almost waving and looking adorable despite the fact that she’s sitting on her knees. “Hey.”
“Surprise. Happy birthday.” Ed is holding a bouquet of red roses and trying to show off his own grin while standing beside Gordo.
“Did you two plan something?” Janine catches on at last, gesturing between Gordo and Ed.
“Yes, Ma’am.” Gordo is sly now, giving Janine another kisses as soon as he moves back towards the sofa.

This time, it’s Ed who's buzzed. Inhibitions have lessened since walking into this house.
He doesn’t care, knowing Karen would never find out. She hasn’t even taken five minutes to meet Jan, let alone give Ed some kind of peace in the past few years.
“We thought about something.” Ed gestures between himself and Gordo after finishing his glass of wine, but facing Janine as lust courses through his veins.
Watching Gordo kiss Janine earlier tonight had been a lightbulb moment. Maybe, just maybe, he could share that affection with her, too.
“Yes?” Janine looks towards Ed while biting her lip, even as Gordo loops his arm around her.
“Would you mind if we…” Ed teases, lowering his voice and daring to scoot closer on the couch until his clothed legs almost touch Janine.
“What?” Janine is curious while questioning Ed now, but watches Gordo’s reaction just in case. On the other, Gordo only scopes her up and down, slowly nodding in lustful approval.
“Do you want us to play with you?” Ed continues, whispering in Janine’s ear and ghosting his breath.
“Yes.” Janine consents, now deliciously feeling how her own body heats right back up. The alcohol no longer matters anymore.

Once he’s passed that threshold, Ed squirms while sitting down in the bedroom. Right now, Janine is kissing Gordo and feverishly tugging at his clothes. And yet, slight jealousy courses through Ed’s veins. It should be him kissing Janine Franklin.
It’s not until Gordo slowly pulls away from Janine and earns another kiss that he notices squirming again.
“Do you want a turn, Ed? She’s a great kisser.” Gordo’s Southern accent reveals itself while stating this point and Ed’s attention perks right away.
“Don’t mind if I do.” Ed licks his lips, but still wants to handle this opportunity without spooking Janine of course. This is her home after all. Across the room, Janine chuckles and slowly walks towards Ed to meet him halfway this evening.
“Hi,” Janine greets Ed and offers that gorgeous smile.
“Hi,” Ed replies. His own body heats right back up. He then mutely acknowledges how desire towards this woman just burns more and more.
“Go first. I don’t want to make you feel uncomfortable.” Janine says, nodding with even more consent.
“Okay.” Ed bites back another smile of his own before turning his head and closing both hazel eyes.
The moment his lips meet hers, Ed wants to float.
He can’t help but completely understand why Gordo is here in the first place. Every bit of respect and warmth that Gordo feels towards Janine falls into this very kiss.
It takes everything within Ed not to feel clouded. Baldwin knows that tonight was only planned for Janine. By morning, he needs to leave this house and sulk back home, where Karen is just miserable or waiting to yell at him. Over and over.
With that knowledge of dread by sunrise, Ed leans further into their kiss, but gently lifts both arms and cups Janine’s face, furrowing his brow. He moans right into her mouth and Jan answers by slotting her thigh between his clothed legs in return.
Ed knows damn-well that if he doesn’t keep thinking straight, all hell would break loose. He might completely ignore Gordo’s presence and rip off Jan’s clothes in the middle of this living room’s floor.
Don’t take control. You’re so much better than that. Ed reminds himself again.
Ed dares to pull away from the kiss at last. When he opens his eyes and faces Janine with quite a hazy expression.
“Hey,” Still caresses her face, Ed checks in, whispering to Janine.
“Hey,” Janine calls back, sounding equally gentle in response to Ed.
While glancing past Ed’s shoulder though, Janine eyes Gordo just in case. Acting slyly then Gordo licks his lips, wanting his lady back.
“Sorry Ed. My man needs me.” Janine almost struts back towards Gordo with pride and kisses him once more.

Before long, as Gordo makes love to Janine, Ed can only watch from one corner one of the room.
It was an agreement.
No matter how many times Ed kisses Janine or plays around otherwise, he would never be the man to take off her clothes.
He hasn’t even allowed himself to fully remove these pants. He strains right through his slacks, palming his erection and channeling these needs.
Hs own voice rasps with each passing moment as he watches Janine bounce right on top of Gordo’s naked body.
As soon as Jan cries out in pleasure, both Gordo and Ed spill, desperately climaxing through every wall of this bedroom.
Ed throws his head back, sensitive beyond words and whispering through breaks of silence. As conflicted tears cloud his eyes, Ed watches Janine slump her curls onto Gordo's bare chest.
Regardless of Ed’s personal feelings, Gordo needs her so much more.

Still, this is probably my best digital painting I’ve done so far and that says a LOT tbh although the one of lunar witch Logan may be a very close second. Either way I am EXTREMELY happy with how this one turned out!
