I think that every Cc has this one thing they offhandedly mention or imply or do with a character of theirs that their community like grabs onto and won’t let go of.

I think it’s so funny that mine is that after I drew what kais base body suit looks like without the jeans, I now see artists that exclusively draw her without the pants. (Bonus points for people that will give her different pants like shorts and such cause I love the variations)

ITS PROBABLY DIFFERENT ACTORS BUT LIKE,,

If we're looking for a canon reason, the armor on his shoulders made it really really hard for him to raise his arms like any more than a 90° angle from his sides,, and like his arms are beefy as hell AND have a lot of armor so it'd be hard to cross them (you can tell bc it does look a little wonky when he does) so he probably settled for the belt bc its just easier for him 🚶🚶🚶
