Hiii sorry it took me so long to respond I actually had no idea what age regression was until you asked and I wanted to make sure I did enough research before responding. Firstly I would like to acknowledge that age regression and age play are 100% NOT the same thing, age play is a kink while age regression a coping mechanism for trauma or missed/lost childhood that can be voluntary or involuntary. With that being said I feel like Hunter is put into a position where he could be an age regressor whether voluntary or involuntary considering he quite literally didn’t have a childhood or Lost that childhood in becoming a child soldier. Whether or not I think canon Hunter is an age regressor is hard to say. I feel like this theory is more subjective within the eyes of the audience, for example someone who is an age regressor could see canon Hunter and think “Yes, he definitely uses age regression to cope with his trauma” versus someone who doesn’t may not feel the same way. I know that Hunter does things that are considered more childish for his age, like owning a stuffed animal, so I agree that he would use that extent of age regression, but as for regressing to a toddler/infant/small child state I don’t know enough about age regression to say for sure.
