15 Questions / 15 Mutuals
I was tagged in this by the lovely @finniestoncrane <3
1. Are you named after anyone?
First name, no. My parents just liked Caitlin. Middle name, yes. It's a feminine version of my mother's grandfather's name, I believe.
2. When was the last time I cried?
I have a terrible habit of bottling my emotions so crying is largely off the menu for me. However, I did come close yesterday when playing the Sims after my version of Jason Todd aged up without me being there </3
Definitely NOT. Mentally, I'm still basically a child myself, plus working with kids for a couple of years really does put you off having your own.
4. Do you use sarcasm a lot?
It is literally a second language and the only way I know how to communicate 🫶
5. What is the first thing you notice about people?
I am often in my own world, so I don't tend to notice others unless they make themselves known to me. I don't think I ever notice a specific thing necessarily, but I am good at remembering faces soooo there must be something 🤷♀️
6. What is your eye colour?
Somewhere between grey and green, but definitely more grey. Fun fact, I get those from my paternal grandfather
7. Scary movie or happy ending?
In theory, I am a horror fan, and have hyperfixed on scary movies in the past (both modern IT movies and The Boy, if anyone was wondering). But I have too short of an attention span to watch films, honestly.
I do, however, enjoy angst far too much to like happy endings, unless they are earned, like in Dracula for instance. That happy ending I would choose over scary movies any day.
(In all seriousness, I can't think of any at the moment)
My hometown is a very typical British town (boring and dull <3). It doesn't help that the county I come from is also boring, though very pretty.
I am also the only person I know that was born in the hospital that I was born in. Everyone else seems to have gone elsewhere
10. What are your hobbies?
When not attending uni classes (or avoiding attending them tbh), I spend far too much time playing the Sims 4. That damn game has had me in a chokehold since it came out.
Besides that, I listen to music near constantly (to the extent that I used Spotify more often than 94% of the UK last year <3). Occasionally, I write, which is usually either fanfiction or horror, and draw. I also read a fair bit, though not nearly as much as I used to.
11. Do you have any pets?
They're all back home, but yes. I have three cats and two dogs, which is very chaotic and I would not recommend it. I do love them though, especially the cats. I have two black cats, and a tabby/tortoiseshell cross. The dogs are a border terrier cross, and god knows what because our other dog was a rescue
12. What sports do you play?
Absolutely none. I am so clumsy and uncoordinated that I am terrible at all sports. Seriously, getting beaten at football and tennis by the kids at work is such a humbling experience.
Considering the tall genes I had to work with, far too short for my liking. I don't know exactly but about 5'5" - 5'6"?
14. Favourite subject in school?
It used to be history, and I am still a big fan, but I was traumatised by A Level History and never wish to study it again.
Naturally, psychology is my favourite subject, so much so that I decided to spend a gross amount of money to study it 🫶
I had a love-hate relationship with English literature when studying it, which was mostly dependent on which texts we were studying. But now that I've finished, I do miss it. You don't know what you have till it's gone, I suppose
Trophy wife to a villain who hates everyone but me <3
(Or like a psychologist, I suppose)
This is the bit that scares me, so I'm gonna leave it open. Feel free to do this and tag me <3
