Capcom Elections: Round 3 If you were sued, who would you like to be defended by?
https://captown.capcom.com/en/elections/3/new
Available until August 4th, voting starts now.
Capcom town is such a cute Idea to celebrate your games. I love it when companies put effort in their websites. The little Jill getting chased around by Nemesis. A building having a view into Phoenix office. The fact that Devilotte is there at all.

I didn't think Objection was gonna win!!!
Like against other capcom properties that sell a lot better than it, too!
But yeah this video is actually super funny. Like Edgeworth complaining how one of the quotes is invalid because it's a sound effect while everyone complaining about how Edgeworth can't defend u if u get sued.
Maya and Edgeworth are an underutilized dynamic. It is interesting how they didn't break it down by country like last time, only the breakdown in Japan. I wish they gave them sunglasses to reference Tokyo Game Show 2006 when they were announcing Apollo Justice together in a faux news broadcast. But i like this too.
But also all the other quotes don't really make sense as quotes for their series except Sengoku Basara's Let's Party.
Anyway yeah, i'm so happy Objection won. They even made cute wallpapers for it where they made all the candidates say objection.
I love them, they make no sense. Just like Capcom.
CAPCOM TOWN: Pixel Wood Badges
Created for the company's 40th anniversary, Capcom Town is primarily a promotional website that acts as a hub for visitors to find the official websites for some of their biggest franchises.
In addition to this, Capcom Town also hosted an event, the Capcom Super Elections, to see which characters and franchises were most popular with voters. A number of exclusive prizes were made for participants.
Among those rewards are these wooden pins, which were based on (mostly) bespoke sprites. The Capcom Town website provides a surprising amount of information about the production process behind these promo prizes--
(For) our 40th anniversary, we're able to release this carefully crafted wood badge with new pixel art that isn't just recycled.
Despite their claims, its clear that a couple of the pins do recycle old sprites from Mega Man & Mega Man II, though they have been modified.
Its interesting that these Mega Man sprites were modified at all, since the added details were lost in the process of converting them into wooden thchotchkes.
More recently, the full-colored sprites were used on merchandise for a Capcom themed promotion for the Central Japan Railway.
That's not all, the Phoenix Wright sprite will be used for the 2024 edition of the Capcom vs. Osamu Tezuka Characters art exhibition. Capcom previously created Mega Man-style Astro Boy sprites for the inaugural crossover.

To see the rest of the wood badges and the sprites that were used as their base, I assembled these compilation for when the 40th anniversary website inventively goes offline ↴
