I love the dynamic of Warriors, Mask, and Tune so much. It is just so wholesome!

Rusl hadn’t appreciated how exhausted he was until they had reached the hot spring.

It was possible it was simply because he was still recovering from that concussion—one of many reasons he hated head injuries—but they had also been in the move for nearly two days with no rest.

Abel likely would have controlled to press onward, but the exhaustion in their young has been evident. When Rusl gently suggested they take a break, Abel had not argued the point.

Captain Link sighed slowly as he sank into the warm water beside Rusl. Before the Ordonian could even get a word out, the young hero was dozing off.

Abel bit his lip as he watched him. “I still can’t believe Fierce was possessing him all along.”

Rusl sighed, a little conflicted on the matter. Given their time together, he knew for a fact that the deity had meant no harm. But he also knew the strange being had no concept of what did and did not hurt others. While this was completely unintentional, it was still dangerous.

“We shouldn’t let him put that mask on again,” Rusl said quietly.

Abel huffed, waving the cursed object. “I took it when we got him back from the Yiga. You think I’d let the boy hurt himself like that again?”

Rusl smiled. No, of course his friend wouldn’t. The weary former knight was snippy and not very personable, but he still had a kind heart.

“Why don’t you enjoy the water too?” Rusl invited. “Rest, friend. I know you’re hurting too.”

Abel rolled his eyes. “Someone has to keep watch. Maybe later.”

The last statement was purely to placate Rusl and he knew it. But he didn’t argue, closing his eyes. He’d snatch his stubborn friend and make him rest later.

Tune's vibing (signing I love you). Mask's just throwing the obligatory fit. The best the captain's getting from them is holding hands apparently. He needs a hug and a few days off; he's got his hands full with these two, Hylia help him.

So I am looking at the badge market in Hyrule Warriors diffinatve addition. An idea hit me. I wonder if link or any of the playable hero's wears them on a sash like a cub scout/girl scout thing?

Hmm like .. like this. The sash with the badges. I can see the Hero of Warrios in this.

I haven't been well for a few days now so I drew something dark. Or "whump"ish, I suppose. I think I'm sticking with this Nowhere design. Not sure about the Captain. It was gonna be Sky but I chickened out.

One of my favorite headcannons is that Warriors lost his left arm during the war. Ganondorf cut it off to steal the triforce of courage.

Since he lost his dominant hand, Warriors worked hard to relearn everything with his nondominant hand, especially sword fighting.

Because of his hard work and dedication, he is still considered the best swordsman in all of Hyrule. Even when he is missing an arm.
