AAAAAAAA I just had a thought,,,,,,,, This might be common knowledge but I only recently learned that the Japanese version of Awakening allows you to make Robin completely silent, and now I’m imagining how Chrobin would carry out with Robin unable to talk. How much more doting Chrom would probably be on them,,,,,, how much more they’d have to communicate by touching him,,,,,,,,,

I have indeed heard about that before! I remember being really intrigued by it from like a plot / story perspective, since Robin obviously has some pretty important lines, and idk how the game goes about delivering some of that information to the player if they don't speak. Do you just have to infer it from the surrounding dialogue? I imagine Robin's portrait art expressions conveys some things but like...idk I'm thinking about something like their plan to set Valm's ships on fire and wondering how the presentation of that changes with a version of Robin who is silent. It seems like it would make for a really interesting way to experience the game! I had NOT ever contemplated Robin as a true silent protagonist from the Chrobin angle specifically, though 👀 I feel like Chrom's ability to intuit what Robin is thinking would be extra handy in a universe where they can't speak. And it's cute to think about him progressing from being initially fairly chill and comfortable with the touching to jumpy and flustered as he realizes he's catching feelings and then just....really happy and tender about it as their bond develops 💖 Shepherds wouldn't even be able to justifiably whine about thier PDA lol Chrom would just be like THIS IS HOW WE COMMUNICATE 😤😤

Found this utterly GORGEOUS creature stranded inside my workplace. Based on my own research on bugs found in eastern Iowa, it seems to be a flat bark beetle? Never heard of them before now but I am IN LOVE with their color.

*psst* father’s day thoughts/headcanons

Oooh so a while ago I got an anon asking for more schneeplebro headcanons, specifically ‘a whole ton,’ so I’m gonna try and finally do that to celebrate father’s day tomorrow, but for some father’s-day-specific ideas:

-They both try to wake up early to make breakfast for the other one. Chase usually wins, bc he’s a very light sleeper & Henrik’s a really deep sleeper, so he can set a quiet alarm for himself & Henrik will sleep right through it. Henrik wakes up like a half hour later and looks next to him and realizes he’s been Defeated, but he still goes downstairs to help Chase.

-On one of their first father’s days together, Henrik’s boys surprise Chase with a little present - probably a card and a candy bar. But it means the world bc they decided to do it themselves and Chase cries A Lot

-Henrik & Chase usually don’t get each other actual gifts for father’s day, they enjoy the day w/ their kids and maybe try to plan a weekend to go away together or at least a day where they both ditch work to spend the day together :)
