speaking of the skit Chris did last night on kimmel, I thought it was really mean too until I realized it's probably satire. I think Chris was making fun of the fact that actors and the movie industry in general feel so entitled?? they portray some peoples lives (for example, racialized people) and then if these people are not happy with how they're being depicted - stereotypically - they're told to be "grateful" that they included them at all. might just be me but that's what I took from it
Yeah no definitely!! That’s what i took from it as well after watching it a few more times, but at the same time i felt a little uncomfortable and most of the things that kimmel makes his guest do are sometimes made for satire. but like i can barely stand him, i only watched it for chris tbh.
