OK OK ALRIGHT SO

hi! it's been a while. don't expect much from me, im basically just here to throw this into the void and then disappear for another thousand years. art is hard.

basically, i recently binge read all of tatatale's alivetale, and very unsurprisingly got very obsessed with insans. he is insane boy. precious boy.

i literally couldnt do anything until i sat down and drew for two days straight. spoiler; i am NOT fast. this was the result. can't say im super proud of the pose for the hug, but eh - i drew that like five different times and i am DONE.

peru's there too because i just think they would get along. peru would adore him. in the above picture, insans straight up just got yoinked.

Ruby.

He's also a skeleton monster, with no friends or family or anyone else besides Peru.

Ruby used to not belong to any kingdom, being just a wandering mercenary, just an unimportant person altogether, until the prince one day showed up in his life and just… took him.

As any skeleton monster, he has magic, but he doesn't use it. When he's not with Peru, Ruby spends most of his days sleeping in the prince's room, not getting to go out that often. 

Unaffected by the prince's charm, Ruby isn't compelled to spoil him and make all his wishes come true, but… more often than not, he does what Peru wants anyway.

Peru.

He’s a skeleton monster, a prince of a kingdom. Second in line to the crown, with his father, Gaster, the King, and his older brother, Pink, first in line to the crown. He absolutely adores his family. His lover, Ruby, is his everything, and he always loves to have Ruby as close as possible.

The entire kingdom that is his home, every single person in it, loves him. He has a certain charm to him that makes him almost impossible to dislike. The only person who sees past his charm for him is Ruby.

He’s always kind to everybody, so much so at some points that it’s almost unnatural. He’s spoiled, everybody wants to give him whatever he wants, even outside of the castle. It comes with the charm.

He looks good and he knows it.

History of Peru’s creation under Keep Reading.

Peru is a Lust Sans. When he was originally created and for a long time after that, I called him Lust. I still do call him Lust a lot, though his official name now is Peru. I first created him through a roleplay with my friend @bibilita1, who is working with me in this blog. This is our AU.

A long time ago, probably about two years ago now, I took inspiration off of @skelesansation‘s Lust Sans when we rped together about him, though by now my Peru is his own fictional skeleton and has nothing to do with her Lust. I will never forget about how he was created, though.

I love my skeletal boy <3

Peru is off in the distance, squealing and chattering about the amazingness of the art to Sharkie.

Ruby took a brief glimpse at the drawing, and then he was cowering away from it in the next second, flinching hard as his eyelights flickered out. 

 "W-Why am I being dragged…? By- By the leash…" he muttered to himself, curling up away from it with a scared expression.

“it’s adorable!” Peru stated excitedly, ignoring Ruby’s fear. “we love it! thank you!”

They’re active! They’re just mainly more active over on their story, currently. They will be quite responsive to any questions they get, but until the story is done (so as to avoid many spoilers), they won’t be as active as they would later be until their story is done!

This is a surface AU!

Monsters were never trapped Underground.

There are multiple kingdoms in this world, with the one this story is centered in being ruled by Gaster.

Gaster, Peru’s father, is extremely kindhearted and wants the best for everyone to a fault. He knows how to be strict on anyone... except his sons. Whatever they want, they get.

Pink, the eldest, is very responsible. He wants to become strong, train to be the next king, and protect and spoil his little brother.

Peru, the youngest... well, you already know about him.
