consequences of being <5ft tall that we just have to Live With:
bar stools. inaccessible motherfuckers why do i have to CLIMB a chair like its a ladder?
if you want to wear long sleeves or pants good luck. they're too long. walking in the rain is horrible. love slathering my floors in Jeans Juice
no ergonomic seating ever and you get weird looks if you sit criss cross applesauce in a chair (just to be able to have both back support and leg support, not only one or the either because every seat is too high and too deep)
kitchen cabinets. what the fuck. who on earth is using cabinets on top of fridges like that. cant they add more cupboards to housing spaces?
people driving those roided out pick up trucks with car hoods higher than your fucking head, let alone your eye of sight. stop honking at me and get a fucking smaller car. i dont want the ugly ass grills of your truck to be the last thing i see before i die
oh yeah also if you're in a car as a short or little person you're mince meat. airbangs can Kill Us. seatbelts can Also Kill Us. ive injured my neck one too many times on a short stop not because i wasnt wearing a seatbelt, but because i WAS wearing one and it slammed across my neck/jaw.
people often not taking you seriously and having to get ID'd and looked over strangely every time
and then everyone else around you forgets all this or isnt even aware in the first place. so they put things places you cant reach. they bring you places you cant get comfortable. their friends might make rude comments. they may have removed the step-ups to their car for the aesthetic. etc etc etc
