rgu gender discourse again (technically) but it really does bug me when people refer to the cast (especially anthy) as women instead of girls

this may seem like an argument about semantics but when the series follows middle school children and one of the major themes of it is the adultification of children through abuse and neglect, using the word woman to describe the 14 year old girls whose biggest concerns outside of sword fights and pedophile older brothers is algebra exams feels, for lack of a better word, Weird

the only named women in the series are Kanae (barely) and Tokiko, whose social status and dynamics are very different from say Nanami or Kozue (both 13)
