Pickaia, the Chord Pokemon!
Type: Electric/Normal
As the first pokemon to evolve an internal cartilage backbone, Pickaia leverages the structure to swim in an anguilliform motion (like a snake). It's broadened tail not only gives it more thrust to swim, but also acts as a conductor to collect electrical energy from the friction its swimming creates. It then uses said tail to shock predators looking to make it their lunch.
Raptorith, the Clawed Pokemon!
Type: Bug/Dragon
A large and imposing predator for its time, Raptorith were the kings of Eohsian seas. It's theorized that they would pick up armored prey, flipping them over to expose their soft underbellies to eat.

Been a minute. I know it’s not ideal to keep having hiatuses like this, but I’m looking to be making a Pokémon once a week for the forseeable future (+ maybe more if I have time/am super inspired/over school breaks).

Arthrole, the Innovative Pokemon!
Type: Bug/Ground
Arthrole was one of the first Pokemon to really kick off the ocean bed and become truly mobile. Developing eyes, legs, and armor, they were capable of tackling almost any environment. As such, there is much diversity in their traits and looks depending on where they're found.

Castform - Sandstorm Form, the Arid Pokemon!
Type: Rock
Sun form Castforms usually live in bright environments. Deserts can make a great place for them to live, at the trade off that every once in a while the wind will howl and the dust will blow into a sandstorm, changing its form for the duration. It is rare to spot Sandstorm Castforms due to the weather’s low occurrence and inclement visibility.
Archanyte, the Loose Ground Pokemon!
Type: Normal
Evolves into Archagaarden With an explosion of life in the surface waters, many sessile organisms would learn to live on the microbial mats of the seabed. Rocks and debris that were caught in the mats would eventually be infested and become Archanytes. When the microbial mats began to disappear halfway through Eohs, Archanytes would be some of the last pieces of solid ground for corals and sponges to live on.
Burroworm, the Upheaval Pokemon!
Type: Fighting
Evolves into Excattoia
When predation first appeared, many animals opted for the development of armor, the senses, or speed. Burroworms would take a different route, learning to dig into the microbial mats of the shallow seas to hide from predators and ambush prey. Their activity would lead to drastic changes for the Eohs seabed.

Type: Fighting/Steel
Evolves from Burroworm
As Burroworms dug deeper in the sediment to hide from predators, they would eventually encounter the true seabed beneath the microbial mats. This led to the development of a hard, spinning point surrounding its mouth to break deeper into the substrate. This deformation of the seafloor would threaten many Eohs species with extinction.
