A few bright cardinals that were out during yesterday's rain and gloom! At one point in the afternoon, the rain let up and the sky brightened enough for me to try to get some shots of birds in the rainy day lighting. Unfortunately for me, most of the birds decided that, suddenly, they were too scared of me to come down to the feeders. The fact that the cardinals were out and the robins weren't was kind of shocking—the cardinals are usually pretty cautious of me! I'm glad to have been able to get some pictures of them, though, because they've been pretty elusive all winter. Maybe they're getting bolder now that spring is on the horizon!
