Gosh, how I miss beautiful, opulently flowering, sumptuous roses in my new garden here in Austin, Texas. Of course, I have planted a few new rose bushes already, to be precise, exactly three, but they are tiny own root babies that have a long way to go until they are able to produce plenty of decent size blooms. Austin, with its high heat and humidity, is also not really known for a climate in which roses thrive. But anyway, I will try to learn how to organically grow the best roses possible here. It will for sure take some patience and I have to admit that I wonder if I will ever see rose blooms like the ones on my photo in my own garden. Are you also growing roses in a challenging climate? By the way, the rose variety in my image is ‘Carding Mill‘, another enchanting David Austin rose that is supposed to do well in warm climates and comes with a heavenly strong fragrance. The picture was taken at the International Rose Test Garden in Portland a few years ago. . . . #rose #roses #rosesofinstagram #flowers #blooms #cardingmill #flowerphotography #rosecardingmill #cardingmillrose #apricotrose #gardening #davidaustinrose #englishrose #englishroses @david_austin_roses (at Austin, Texas) https://www.instagram.com/p/CBN2TdQAo0q/?igshid=f7ze91yvo2fr
