Cardio vs. lifting weights. Which one is better? Well, it depends. If you want to burn a lot of #calories fast, cardio is clearly the better choice. Doing a 30 min run burns way more calories then lifting weights even for 1 hour, at least in the short term. #weightlifting on the other hands build muscle. These muscle increase your metabolic rate in the long term. Therefore you burn more calories during the day, literally doing nothing. Even tho it's not a lot more calories, it still adds up. So if you ask me what to do, just do a combination of both, so you gain the benefits of both worlds.
