Okay I'm writing something sort of like this, but imagine Meg reading a book called "how to excite your vampire lover" and Laura sees and suggests pages to try out, but they're all really advanced/kinky stuff and Meg gets really scared and confused

hmmm, I see Jo gifting that to her as a practical joke on Valentine’s Day, and then instead of being scared, her other side kicks in and is like of couRSE. ThesE ARE GOOD IDEAS. And then she goes all suburban mom reading 50 shades of grey on it, except for those few pages which she’s like ehhhh and then she tries some of it on Carmilla and Carmilla’s just like wtf babe. babe??? and she finds the book, and realizes that it’s from Laura and Jo, and as petty revenge she goes to the romantic restaurant that they’re having dinner at and uses her powers to set off the fire alarm and indoor sprinklers, her parting phrase from where she smirks at them from the doorframe being ‘Thanks guys, this Valentine’s Day has been very exciting’

What do the carmfl couples do to surprise each other, romantically speaking

Kirschie: Kirsch does the full out romantic dinner, complete with red roses, all of the stereotypical things like champagne and chocolate, but also some beer. Basically he goes on yahoo answers to find the ultimate date and does it. He’s committed, and will do like ‘themed dinners.’ It’s adorable. Laurie goes the other route and gets tickets to sporting events. He enjoys going to the games more than he’d like to admit.

Jaura: It’s weird because Jo and Laura are like some of the wildest of the bunch but I just like... don’t see them as super romantic? like they both appreciate the idea of spontaneous romantic gestures, but neither like... takes the initiative? and they’re kind of okay with that? because sex is a tricky subject with succubus!Laura and neither of them want to seem like they’re pushing it? I feel like romantic surprises are not really a Jaura thing, except maybe a ‘big’ proposalJerry: Joan takes Perry on surprise dates, to museums, or gardens, or anywhere with a lot of beauty, because she knows that it’s very Not Perry, but that it could be, and it is, because Perry learns to love it, the orderly rows, and neatly framed paintings with subjects that range from the most orderly to the most chaotic. And she also experiments with different kinds of blood with Perry and LaF’s help for the flavor profiles and stuff? basically she just wants to make it so carmilla can enjoy real food more than just champagne and chocolateDanamy: I can’t even talk about these two. They’re some of the sappiest romantic FOOLS ever, like what. Pie datesssss, valentine’s day surprises, little gifts left on pillows, movie nights where they just cuddle. Marmie coming home one night to see all her daughters watching TV with their girlfriends in their animal forms cuddling them. Except for Beth who's on puppy form with JP roosting on her back

Okay so Jo needs a bear for a shirt so she hides Laura's cookies before they go to film it. Also Jo taking puppy!Beth on walks to the park and playing fetch with her

ok but I see Laura shifting as less of a burst of emotion and more of Jo pleading for days on end that she needs a bear for a shot, and then when Laura finally reluctantly agrees she ends up with this wee bby bear because Laura’s in a good mood, so she has Carmilla go up behind her and scare the fuck out of her so that she’d shift into a big one

that was the one moment when Carmilla was truly afraid for her life

And yES!!! FETCH!!! Also I like the idea of Beth having a dog and being so excited that she could shift into one because now they can talk, so she spends a bunch of time in puppy form having conversations with her dog

at one point she comes back with a ‘Freddy thinks that fetch is stupid, but I’ll still play, can you buy me doctor who themed squeaky toys?’

for Carmfl, I know Laura is a succubus and not a vampire but who cares what animal do you think she turns into? I want to say something really cute o she doesn't use her for m to often cause it causes potential food sources to see her as a cute person not a sexy one but Jo likes her even if she sees her as a fluffy cut animal sometimes

I actually see her as being something not Laura at all, like hmmmm... something actually dangerous, but she doesn’t shift because feeling dangerous is uncomfortable to her. I TAKE IT BACK NONE OF THIS HEADCANON RAMBLING MATTERS SHE IS A BEAR

AND BEYOND THAT THE AGE SHE APPEARS AT DEPENDS ON HER MOOD SO WHEN SHE’S ANGRY SHE’S A HUGE FEROCIOUS BEAR AND WHEN SHE’S HAPPY SHE’S A SMOL BABY BEAR TOO PURE

but she doesn’t shift very often at all, like probably like once a month or something? she really doesn’t like it that much

Beth and JP sitting together being cute when Carmilla walks in with a plate full of Perry's cinnamon rolls, she starts eating them and says "look I'm eating you two" but neither of them get the joke so Carm has to wait for Laura to show up and redo the joke cause Laura lives on the internet and gets the reference

And she makes the joke around Laura and she’s almost brought to tears and just whispers “It’s so true. They’re too pure.” as she watches them share a mug of hot cocoa while they watch made for tv romances. 

The best part is that they both totally got the joke because they live online, but were both too shy around Carmilla to really say anything about it.
