I don't really know how to answer this other than at some point the money I was gaining from patreon/kofi made it possible for me to uphold my part of the household. Definitely took some years. I think it was around the time stonekrovns appeared, which boosted the comic a lot because people liked the doggies. At that time I also had a turning point in my personal life which allowed me to make the comic my fulltime job.
