well i did the thing!

ohmygod tho, no imagine like them as lady racers tho. kicking ass and taking names. 

like lady james, jamie, whatever. like gets into racing because she's damn good at it. one day she was hating this guy who had a car and she was like "let me try" and then did and holy fuck she was good. and now here she is. and she still sleeps with like everybody and has no shame, and can tell you secrets on all the racers, because well she's probably hooked up with most of them, and most of the fans, and the reporters, but hey and girl's got to do what a girl's got to do. and when she has a bad race/crashes and one of the guys make some comment like "she probably on the rag," she goes and kicks his fucking ass and is like "suck on that bitches" totally still says big balls during that one interview, cause she's got bigger balls than all the other racers put together.

and then there's lady niki, nikki, yeah let's go with that. who's daddy was all like "you're gonna marry some nice business man that i pick out for you" but she's "lol nope" and takes out a loan and joins a racing team and everyone's giving them shit for taking on the girl, but what they don't realize is she's the best there fucking is. and she's still like "your car is shit" and then fixes it and blows their minds. and ends up being like number one - your favs could never. and just has that smug little look and then eats yogurt and yeahhh. they're all like "thats our girl" all proud and shit, but she's like "psh i dont need no man's help"

lady racers being badass is like everything i need in life. 

also nikki is always like "god jamie, put some clothes you're giving lady racers a bad name" except you know, she never does, cause jamie likes to show off the goods. and so they yell at each other and are like "bitch" and "rat" and all sorts of mean names. and then they have super hot lesbian sex, cause yeah.

I mean the others get origins changed up yes but there are some things that are so IMPORTANT. I don't think there's much that has the same effect on someone as living through Stalingrad at 14/15, you know? Or seeing people you love age and die, while you stay young. They kept the WWII in Steve and Bucky, I wish I could be confident that they'd keep it in Nat.

I worry about whether or not those will be remembered.

If they aren't- It'll make MCU Natasha a very different person from comics Natasha and in a lot of ways that will make me sad.

I suppose they could still do good. They could make her amazing even if they do her differently. They've done some impressive women so far.

But I still worry. And I will still sit sadly with my Natasha solo book if the woman on screen is really different from her.))

The Battle of Stalingrad was kind of something that shaped her entire outlook on life, not to mention a hell of a lot that came with growing up in Soviet Russia and the years and years and years of staying young when she should be shriveling with age.
