Interesting side effect of writing Draco Malfoy and the Tale of Many Masters is how much I'm having to flesh out Amycus and Alecto Carrow. Like damn, why are these two beefing with a teenager so much? Why are you lowkey sabotaging him and trying to make him a become traitor? You don't need to be doing all of that. Catching a traitor in the act is not going to make Big Boss Voldy like you more. Also them being scared of Snape purely because they know Voldy takes everything that man says as gospel is another funny addition.
I almost feel bad for the Carrow's because they are objectively right about the secret rebellion in Hogwarts started by Neville, and Draco becoming a traitor, but they do also have the unfortunate circumstance of not being even slightly respected and Voldy believing Severus whenever he's like "no Longbottom's a total wimp, there's totally no secret hideout full of muggle-borns, squibs, halfbreeds and fugitives and I'm totally not incentivised to hide it from you". Like the Carrow's are objectively right but Severus and Draco keep gaslighting gatekeeping and girlbossing too hard for anyone to believe them.
