this is gonna fall into the void for sure, but if like one person sees this and it gives them some new info i’ll have done my job so!!

- traditional w*ndigo do not have antlers; they are not related to deer in original tradition

- any w*ndigo pictured w antlers/deer features was likely created during/post colonization

- bryan fuller putting a w*ndigo in his extremely non-native *white* show was a big misstep

- just bc the intention was to portray a w*ndigo, does not mean that is what they did

- continuing to name (and especially joke about, fangirl over, etc) the “w*ndigo” in nbc hannibal is disrespecting plains native traditions and our continual asks that you please leave alone traditions that aren’t yours both for your safety and ours

in conclusion: it is not a w*ndigo, and there is no reason to call it a w*ndigo, bc it’s not accurate, it’s disrespectful to algonquian cultures, and if you say the stag man everybody knows what you’re talking about anyways.

Let’s talk about detail in Rocketman:

The tiny details and consistencies in Rocketman are astounding. When Elton is in the coffee shop waiting for Bernie, the waitress tells him they’re closing soon. When Elton and Bernie are seen leaving the coffee shop, you can see the lights turn off inside and the waitress flip the sign from open to closed. Among all other outstanding things that make this movie amazing, it’s the little things that completely drive it home. This movie is a fantastic product of passion and devotion and such great amounts of care and it really, really shows.
