Damn.
Chuck desperately trying to turn off the angel radio because Dean's dirty prayers keep tuning in and no one's in the mood for any more prayers about Cas' ass.
Imagine Chuck stopped publishing books after the Dean goes to hell plot line (as said in 5x09) because he put Cas in, didn’t like him, but then couldn’t get him out of the story. Imagine he then tried to kill him, wrote season 5 without him and everything, but at that, Dean gave up. The story ended. It ended bad. So he brought Cas back. Over and over and stupidly over because he just couldn’t get rid of him. In every single instance once Dean met Castiel, he was lost without him, because how can you be given faith only to lose it? And the fact that Dean can’t just have faith on his own, the fact that Dean’s first trust in anything good was Cas, is exactly where Chuck shot himself in the foot. And for all of that Chuck hates him.

sometimes I think about how in the spn universe there were probably fans of the books so who went looking for fanfiction about their favorite characters and instead found two serial killer brothers with eerily similar lives and the same names as the book characters
I wonder how many gay spn universe teenagers went looking for Destiel and instead found out their fav characters were either based on two very real, very recently active dead serial killers OR they're actually real people and the books are just their actual lives
imagine being a depressed gay 15 year old and discovering you may have lived through the apocalypse

Today, Cas accidently references a specific case from before he met the Winchesters, and is forced to admit that, in being forcefully stuffed with centuries of popculture by Metatron, he has unfortunately retained memory of the supernatural books.
