Dean battling his bisexual monsters but it's him being surrounded by all the versions of Castiel and them just begging him to choose one of them.
The glyph that makes angels unable to sense things but it starts confusing the hell out of Castiel.
Insert him holding an ancient artifact with the glyph since they want to protect it from angels, but him constantly forgetting it's in his hand everytime he looks away from it and thinking "what the fuck???" Every time he notices something is in his hand. It could even be Dean holding something with the glyph literally right in front of him but Castiel can't tell whether he's crazy or not because to him, it feels like its there and not there at the same time.
On my previous post, I added I wish Sam and Dean kept all the little kids without parents they came across... I'm now realizing how much chaos it'd be.
Whilst there's the fact they'd have to fit them all into baby ((and I don't think she'd appreciate drooling, crayon-equiped children to be near her)) but you also have that some of them are monsters.
There's the first two children we come across which Sam and Dean mistook for ghosts ((I really like how creative that episode was)) who the brothers would have to teach them that hey! Eating people is really REALLY bad! Meanwhile Jacob (Amy Pond's son) is eating brains, resulting in a never ending "But it isn't fair!" Argument to break out.
+ team Free will listening to Dean complain, but none of them can bring up the fact Dean's the one who insisted on adopting them all...
Dean trying to be hate Lilith, but all his maternal bones are just screaming at him, "WE NEED TO MOTHER THE CHILD."

A thought I really like is Bobby-John just shifting their face into whoever's attention or company they want. Imagine this happening for the first time ((If Dean kept Bobby-John)) and Dean's just feeding Bobby-John one second, the next he's staring at a baby with the adult head of Sam. It might not be the greatest sight to Dean, but I'd pay to see that happen.
Tips for Writing Injuries! (AGAIN)
Your action hero just got shot in the shoulder, stitched it up in a motel bathroom, and is now running through a forest. I need you to know that a shoulder wound severs muscle, nerves, and sometimes bone, and the human body's response to that is not "mild wincing followed by full range of motion." here is what injuries actually do to peoplee...
⊹ Adrenaline is REAL and it does allow people to do extraordinary things immediately after injury, BUT it is a loan, not a gift. you borrow the function and you pay it back later with interest. Your character might genuinely be able to run for twenty minutes after being stabbed. and then the adrenaline drops and everything the body was delaying arrives all at once. the collapse is NOT weakness. it's biology collecting its debt. write the debt collection. it's more interesting than the heroic sprint anyway.
⊹ Blood loss changes cognition before it drops you. you don't go from "fine" to "unconscious." you go through a whole middle stage of confusion, poor decision-making, emotional dysregulation, a strange calm, tunnel vision, difficulty forming sentences. Your injured character making a bad call, saying something they normally wouldn't, becoming suddenly and inexplicably gentle--that's blood loss. use the middle stage. it's dramatically rich and almost nobody writes it.
⊹ Recovery has a timeline and the timeline is long and boring and inconvenient to plot. a broken rib takes six weeks and during those six weeks sneezing is a genuine emergency. a concussion means no screens, no reading, no bright lights, and symptoms can persist for months. a stab wound to the abdomen means weeks of infection risk, limited mobility, and a specific kind of exhaustion that has nothing to do with sleep. Your character being sidelined and frustrated and useless for a long time is not a narrative problem. it's the story.
⊹ Pain also affects personality in ways writers skip. chronic pain makes people short-tempered and then guilty about being short-tempered. it makes concentration difficult. it makes intimacy complicated, both emotional and physical. a character who was patient and warm before their injury and is now snappy and withdrawn is not a character regression. they're in pain. pain is exhausting in ways that don't show on the outside. the people around them noticing and not knowing how to help is a whole story in itself.
characters raised to be tools
Weapons. Trained, tested, forged in steel and fire. Failure is an inevitability that ends in death. Pain should not be felt--it should be recognized, familiar, and inconsequential
Martyrs. In the form of servants and princes, of leaders and underdogs. If blood is necessary, the martyr will lift their hands and offer it all
Shields. Like tempering a sword, but only to bear and not to lash out. Wounds are medals--not symbols of pride, but symbols of worth. A pretty shield is useless; scars mean a job well done
Experiments. Raised on the cold comfort of a lab table. Restraints are only necessary when they're not in their right mind. Is it honorable, to be twisted beyond recognition? Or is it just a necessary evil?
Monsters. Cruelty, caution, and regarding one as a creature beyond reasonable thought is tempering in its own right. But if you keep a leash at the right length, perhaps the massecre won't reach you. One can hope.
Idols. Pretty face, pretty name, pretty hands around their shoulders and throat. There to seduce, manipulate, force any feeling to come to the surface and twist it to their favor. Any genuinity stays locked behind the guilded cage that surrounds their pretty little heart
Trophies. Status and wealth and the traditions that keep someone at their heels, on their knees, to display and serve and decorate one's ballroom.
Sacrifices. Drenched in honorable clothes, prepared and adored and cleansed. The gift of hope at the cost of one's life. Is it taken with no fight? How can you escape the ropes you were born in?

Lex Luthor putting some of his DNA into Kon so he has his intelligence, but as he is gloating himself about how genius that decision was, he goes "Oh shit, I'll have to teach him things in order for him to genuinely be intelligent." Because Lex didn't think that far genuinely.
That either calls for Lex using this as an opportunity to ramble on his hyperfixations, or him getting increasingly exhausted as he has to read a d explain basic concepts to Kon.
Crowley definitely should've 100% known that Sam was drinking demon blood, and that should've either horrified him or give Crowley a bunch of dark humour jokes.
As much as I like to think of Crowley avoiding or being nicer to Sam because he doesn't want to be drank dry, I also like the idea of Crowley inviting Sam to dinners in hell because I wouldn't be too surprised if demons ate demons too anyway. Maybe he let's Sam drink the blood and Crowley just has the remainder because he doesn't like his demons soggy, that's the perfect lunch date duo.
Does anyone else think Dean looks like Lucifer?
I've always thought them to look similar in some way, having also nearly mistaken him for Dean when he was in darker lighting. Imagine how horrible it must be for Sam if he saw the resemblance too. I'd hate to always see a bit of your captor when you're with the person that saved you.

How to show loneliness in a character rather than tell it:
lots of internal monologue and even dialogue with oneself
social awkwardness
despite longing for connection, avoiding it because they are not used to it
or: seeking connection anywhere they can, even in the tiny interactions with employees and strangers
making their home a very comforting space since they spend so much time in it
not feeling invited to activities unless explicitly told they are, and even then doubting it
not even considering the possibility of talking to someone
feeling warmth in their chest after a good talk with someone, only for it to twist into dread and doubt later on

I was messing with CSS on AO3 and found a way to make it a little more time consuming for others to steal fanfics (they will be unable to copy/paste)
go to Skins > My Work Skins > Create Work Skin and paste this code inside the CSS section:
.content {
user-select: none;
}
choose one of your fanfics to use as sacrifice, edit a chapter, select the work skin you just created, click on the HTML button and paste this small code before any text:
<div class="content">
you'll also need to add this at the very end of your chapter: </div>
... and it should look something like this:
<div class="content">
CHAPTER HERE
</div>
then just click on the preview button and check if it worked before publishing
Writing Notes: Compassion Fatigue
Compassion Fatigue - the burnout and stress-related symptoms experienced by caregivers and other helping professionals in reaction to working with traumatized people over an extended period of time
Can show itself in a range of symptoms and behaviors, such as:
Diminished ability or interest to care for others
Preoccupation with people you help
Mental and/or physical exhaustion
Anger and irritability
Anxiety and/or depression
Intrusive thoughts
Sleep problems
Being easily startled
Hopelessness about helping work
Flashbacks
Hypervigilance
Avoidance of certain activities, situations, or people you help
Feeling like a failure as a helper
Drops in productivity
Emotional numbness
Trouble separating personal and professional life
A decreased capacity to experience sympathy and empathy
Dysfunctional coping behaviors, e.g., misusing alcohol or drugs
Taking more time off work
Reduced decision-making ability
Feeling disconnected
Decreased satisfaction or enjoyment with work (Cocker & Joss, 2016; Clay, 2020; Stamm, 2010)
Some important factors that contribute to compassion fatigue include (Figley, 2002a):
Prolonged exposure. The feeling of responsibility for helping those in pain for a significant period of time—breaks and vacations are important to avoid this.
Traumatic recollections. Emotional memories that the client triggers for the therapist—these may reflect the therapist’s experiences of other clients who were especially difficult, demanding, or suffering greatly.
Life disruption. Any life event that disrupts your routine, schedule, or ability to manage and cope with your daily responsibilities.
Compassion fatigue is a form of stress or tension that arises from frequent contact with traumatized people, where we become preoccupied with the suffering or pain of others (Hunsaker, Chen, Maughan, & Heaston, 2015).
