Hello Friends of Histamine Tapes, I don’t often find myself getting caught up in the “this year sucks, next year is going to be my year” nonsense, but I will say I am happy to put 2023 behind me. I was still pretty traumatized from July’s floods when Decembers floods hit (luckily causing much less damage). There was so much upheaval in my personally and work life, and I am still finishing label…

Their genre-fluid music favors surf and nineties rock nostalgia – crushed and grinded by some contemporary composition jamboree – and sprouts out in intricate grooves, eruptive spontaneity and textures ranging from the uplifting to the bizarre. When performing live H. C. BEHRENDTSEN are adorning themselves with DIY-creative coding and visual exuberance delivered by a trashy stock of TVs...Sometimes things get weird. We like it! November 11th H.C.B. will debut thier first vinyl on Schatulle Bömm and have co-released with Cassettendienst on cassette. Robert Gemmel designed the vinyl jacket. The cassette design is by Markus Färber. Incredible and very interesting combination of players all together.
