Don’t Sweat it

You have worked at this boxing place for a few months now. You worked as the person who handed the water bottles to the boxers. There was a tournament coming up, and you were getting the water bottles ready, you had about 16 of them, 2 cases of 8. You were some of the few people to enter the area first. As you were making your way to the ring, you were looking down and thinking to yourself about the next 3 matches that you had. You suddenly then walk into something hard, well someone, actually. You look at the person, their back facing you, they turn around and you realize that it was one of the boxers, specifically Cassian Floros. “Oh my gosh, I’m so sorry!” You said, face as red as a tomato. He gives a small smile, “Don’t sweat it.” Giving you a nod, as you move around him to start heading back to the ring.

As you settle your stuff down and double checking everything, the ring announcer starts the match. You look back and realize that the boxer that you have to give water to, is also the same guy you bumped into, you blush, thinking back to the little moment that you two had. He noticed that too when you guys made eye contact. He gives you a wink, before going back to focus on his match. You shake your head, smiling at the moment.

After a 20 minute gruelling match, Cassian came out victorious! You clap and cheer, happy to see him on top. He comes out the ring and makes his way towards you. You thought he was grabbing his stuff, but instead he comes up to you bends down slightly and says “I would love to talk to you more, may I have your number?” You stare and him in awe, and then shake your head yes. As you were going to turn around and find paper, even though your at a ring so where the hell would you find it, Cassian grabs your wrist, turns you back around and says “Meet me at my locker room, we can exchange them there.” He gives you a wink and walks away. What did you get yourself into?
